This is one person's post who lists trade rumors and his mock draft predictions. Pretty wild if you ask me. I don't see it, but then again Reid's job was never really on the line last year, but is it this year??

**Rumor Mill from Charlotte**
Eagles Trade CB Samuel to Panthers for QB Jimmy Claussen and RB J Stewart
Eagles then trade QB M Vick to the Miami Dolphins for thier 1st (8th Overall) and their 3rd Round Pick (#72nd overall) and a 1st Round pick in 2013

Eagles then have the following Draft Selections
1st (#8th Pick) DE Quinton Coples (UNC 6-6 285lbs-)
1st(#15th Pick) Is traded along with DE Brandon Graham to the NE Pats for their #27 and #31 Selections in the 1st Round and 3rd Round Pick in 2013 Draft
1st (27th Pick) OLB Cortney Upsahw (6-2 260lbs – SAM LB Starter from Day 1)
1st (31st Pick) SS Mark Barron (6-1 220lbs – Starting SS from Day 1)
2nd (46th Pick) QB Brandon Weeden (6-4 221lbs)
2nd (51st Pick) DT Brandon Thompson (6-2 315lbs)
3rd (72nd PIck) WR Brian Quick (6-4 224lbs)
3rd (89th Pick) CB Trumain Johnson (6-2 204lbs)
4th (115th Pick) TE Michael Egnew (6-5 252lbs)
5th (143rd Pick) OT Nate Potter (6-5 305lbs)
6th (161st Pick) FB Emil Igwenagu (6-1 250lbs)
That’s it for now
Edwards and Weeden duke it out for the Starting QB Job,
Claussen/Kafka battle it out for 3rd String while the other gets coached up and then traded/released

Vick can't be traded. Period. Nobody would pick up his $100m contract.

The Mike Vick trade is incredible, wishful thinking...two firsts and a third? That's just :lmao2: !

Nobody is that stupid enough to give up that much for Vick. Maybe Vick of 2006.

Two 1sts, a third, and 100m for a QB that might not be starting much longer if he continues to play like he did last season. :laugh2:

Hahahaha!

No one would even give a third round pick for Vick!

OMG!

I'll have to give credit this to this site because our mocks seem to be pretty attainable and not some sort of Madden Franchise pipe dream.

hard to believe even Eagle fans are dumb enough to think Vick with that contract would attract that kind of bounty in draft picks....

besides Reid dont have time for a rebuild, he has to roll with what he has....

Sounds like some Philly fans are still trying to get their version of the Herschel Walker trade. Just sad.

Yea, when I got to the "trade Vick" part I stopped reading.

I think the dumbest thing about that isn't the Vick part, but the idea that NE would give up two 1st round picks and a 3rd rounder for Graham, who has been a complete bust.

Wow, I didn't even notice that. That's laugh out loud material right there. If Graham warrants two first rounders, and a third then I wonder what Pierre- Paul would fetch. LMAO!

They have an overly diliusional fan base

Cowboys22

No way any of that happens. It's a typical fan overvalueing their players and thinking some team will give up the world for them. However, lets say all of that happens. Are the eagles really going to be happy goining with either Edwards or Weeton as the starting QB? I'd say thats a huge step backwards and would take them out of playoff contention instantly.

Vick is absolutely untradeable with that contract

Yup. I think that about sums it up. Not unless the Eagles make the decision to eat the lion's share of Vick's contract, if and when they ever decide to part ways with Sir Michael.

I'm not buying the trade rumor, as presented.

Even then a 31 year old injury prone QB that really hasn't done much in his career isn't going to bring much more than a 3rd as a stop gap until they find a franchise QB

Bob Grotz of the Delco Times believes Eagles CB Asante Samuel is more likely to be released than traded.
It's about money, not talent. The Titans, through beat writer Jim Wyatt, have essentially laughed at the Eagles' reported third-round asking price for a 31-year-old cornerback with salaries of $9.9 million and $11.4 million the next two years. Even if Samuel restructures his deal, the cap hit will be divided over the next two years while the base salary is converted to a substantial signing bonus.

They may be able to still trade him but they will have to drop it to something like a 5th round pick or lower for that type of base salary

That trade was dead in the water long before he got to the Vick part.

The Panthers would not give them Clausen and Stewart for an aging CB like Samuels.

So that trade was stupid before he even got to the Vick mess.

This is one of those areas where Madden truly has made the casual fan incredibly stupid.

they wouldnt draft Weeden, he is already 28....he would only get that rookie contract with the team, and then they would send him off to FA....they dont like to sign 30 year old players.
