Uh... Alright.
One of the most under rated players in the draft IMO.

Could this mean a trade for felix?

I don't think it necessarily means that at all. Felix has one year left on his deal and Murray is injury prone. And Felix has had his share of injuries as well. May just be keeping an eye on a player they like that could fall.

I would LOVE to have Doug Martin...Him paired with Murray would be unreal.

I like Martin. He'd be a workhorse grinder.
Not sure I like him in the 3rd which is where I'm guessing you'd have to take him.

Not all that sure he'd make it to the third.
Well, senior week his stock was on the rise big time.

Interesting that we're considering him. It sure would be nice to have a good 3 down RB like Martin as a reserve but we have more pressing needs in the 2nd and 3rd rounds which is the range he'll come off the board. But i really do like the player.

His lack of blocking skills will keep him off the field in third and long situations unless he can be used as a slot receiver. IMO there are better options if Wilson or Miller fall then I would pause before I go to the podium with 2nd or 3rd rd choice.

I LOVE this. Martin is a stud.
It makes me wonder though, if we're serious about taking a RB in the 2nd Round then would we draft Richardson at 14 if he were to fall? I had not thought of that possibility until just now.

He's gotten some very positive press from the draft gurus. I'm from Boise and am a huge Boise State Broncos follower. Doug Martin's got the goods. Shorter, at 5’9¼", but has a strong build, at 223 lbs.; a very instinctive and effective RB.
Summary
Doug Martin is one of this class’s most complete and promising backs. Among other attributes, his combination of vision, balance, and burst stands out on film. He projects as a three down back at the next level, with the receiving and blocking ability necessary to see playing time early. Expect Martin to be the second running back off the board, potentially as early as the middle of the first.

Martin will go 2nd round. Maybe even before we pick in the 2nd.
Not sure why they are looking at him. Unless they are going to trade down in the 1st and pick up and extra 2nd

Wait til next year, draft Montee Ball.
Montee Ball + DeMarco Murray = yardage.

Agreed but he is very comparable to Tashard Choice.
I've been a big fan of his the last 2 years though. He's one of those guys who will at worst be a solid pro.
Just a natural runner.

If we spend another premium pick on a RB, It will be a complete waste. What the heck happened to Phillip Tanner?!

I was thinking more Ray Rice, he runs a lot harder than Tashard.

I see some Ray Rice in him as well. I would not be surprised if he end up being the 2nd best RB in this draft.
