This question is NOT would YOU take him but rather if you honestly think we will draft him if he's there. I'm not just dreaming here but trying to think logically. I truly do believe that if MW is available at 11, he'll be a Cowboy. I've really gotten the impression that BP and JJ like him quite a bit but don't expect him to be available. Most of the Cowboy writers seem to think we'd take him too. I've begun prayer and fasting that he will be a Cowboy :D

I really don't think there's a chance he will be there.

I never ever dreamed Jason Witten would be available in the second round a few years back....and we drafted him with a 3rd round pick. Never dreamed Steven Jackson or Kevin Jones would be available past pick 15 last year, yet there they were..sitting available even after 22. The teams that want a WR very well could go different routes and even Minnesota may like Williamson's speed a lot. Moss was as much a speed guy as a big target. I honestly don't think MW will be there at 11, but you truly NEVER KNOW.

Witten was a 3rd round pick. Which makes your point even more.

Well yeah anything is possible, he could fall to 31 but it's doubtful. If he does fall to 11, I couldn't see Dallas passing on him.

if he's still there that probably means only one WR has come off the boards in the top 10, and SOMEBODY will be dying to grab Williams. thats when that #11 pick is worth its weight, much more so than the #20 pick. we DON'T have a glaring need at WR, and if only one is off the board at 11 it means we should be able to comfortably trade down here, having the 20 pick to fall back on if need be to pick up williamson, clayton, or white.
i say we pass go and collect another second or third round pick...
we are goin to draft whoever bill parcells wants to draft at 11, case closed, end of story, deal with it.

He won't be there, but if he is, then the "BPA" rule kicks in, the "we passed on Moss to draft Ellis factor" kicks in, and the Cowboys most certainly draft Mike Williams. Anyone who says we'd pass doesn't know football. :p:

If he's there we will get 2 or 3 picks to trade down and we will.

I agree Blindzebra. I know if Mike Williams is there at 11, no matter how much i like him, Bill and Jerry will prolly get and offer way to good to refuse and theyll trade down for a few extra picks.
