There are many analysts out there that are saying Stephon Gilmore is a lock for a top 10 pick..

Just sayin

Would be good for us, for sure

I don't see Claiborne or Cox dropping, so I don't see this helping us except in a trade scenario.

I think our focus is Barron and if he is gone, we trade out. If we can't do either, we take DeCastro.

Not sure how this doesn't help us..

We aren't taking him at 14..anybody that we arent taking, that gets drafted before us is helping us.

If that's true it would seem these players are gone by the time we pick:

Luck
RG3
Kalil
Richardson
Claiborne
Tannehill
Cox
Gilmore
Blackmon
Reiff

So that would be 10/13 of the picks locked up now. I know many assume Ingram and Kuechly will also be gone.

It is looking a lot like Barron, DeCastro, Coples or trade down.

I only see it dropping players we would not be interested in.

Kuchley
Reiff
Coples
Floyd

Barron is not going top 10 and unless Eagles/Jets trade up, he will be at 14 for us to take. I think he is our focus, so unless Cox drops I don't think we have interest in most of the other players that could drop to us.

That's all I'm saying.

I've heard Reiff could fall..

Why would we not be interested in Coples? Kid is a beast, this crap about his motor is overblown. It was 1 year, not his college career.

I'd actually be mildly surprised if Reiff is taken before us. He's a carbon copy of Bryan Bulaga, who was mocked most often going 5th overall to KC in 2010, and ended up sliding into the 20's (23rd I think). OT's with short arms don't generally go high.

My list of guys that I'm 90% sure will be gone by 14...

Luck
Griffin
Kalil
Richardson
Claiborne
Blackmon
Cox
Tannehill

So just 8. Leaving 5 more to come off the board before 14. The guys who are 50% or thereabouts likely to be gone...

Reiff
Floyd
Kuechly
Ingram
DeCastro
Barron
Poe
Coples
Gilmore
Brockers

So 5/10 on this list will be available. We're guaranteed to get no worse than the Poe/Brockers/Kirkpatrick/Gilmore range.

I'm interested in Gilmore if De Castro is gone this would be my next choice...
