Mark Barron has suddenly become the hot property in the NFL draft. The consensus of the most recent mock drafts is that he is the target of the Dallas Cowboys. The New England Patriots have started making noise about moving ahead of Dallas to take him. And now, the San Diego Chargers are looking into trading up for him as well, according to Pro Football Talk.

It's sad, but we really do need a good safety.
They can have him. Cox or one of the top 5 guys is all I'd move up for.

I'm very much against the idea of moving up, however if SD tries to trade with Arizona, I'd atleast explore moving up one spot. If we can do it for a 5th, I would atleast consider the idea.

I could live with George Iloka or Markelle Martin in the 3rd Round. I think they both could be really GOOD (but, not ELITE) Safeties in the NFL.

Honestly, if Barron is gone, I could possibly go the whole draft without drafting a safety.

Don't fall for it Jerry! This is exactly the type of thing that will make him antsy and get duped into a dumb deal. I love Barron, but I wouldn't trade up for him.

I'm honestly going to be pretty upset if we stand pat and watch Barron and cox get drafted in front of us. I know decastro is the safest pick but not at 14 I'm sorry guy

Breaking News: all 32 teams will draft Mark Barron as their first pick in the 2012 draft. He will fly from game to game and only play one half per team. The teams are not sure how this will work logistically but they do not care. All teams want Mark Barron.

I don't think we need one bad enough to give up the farm for and I don't want to do it at the expense of not giving us the solid line we need.
If we can't run the ball or convert 3rd downs, it doesn't matter who we put back there, by the fourth quarter they will all be dog tired and can't perform. We need the Offense to help the defense out.
