draft?
Mine is Coples. The guy doesn't look interested in the game half the time and in two interviews I saw he looked high.

So funny. I was just going to make a thread asking out of all the guys that have been possibly mocked to Dallas, which would be your least favorite.
I would probably go with Poe and Coples in that order.

Brockers is the one I really don't like that much that is being talked about with dallas.

This one for me.
It's not that I hate the player, just the thought of taking him at #14 considering he's so much 'potential' rather than 'production'.

Coples, Brockers, and Poe I'd prefer to avoid at 14.

Agreed. I could learn to like any of those picks... just not at 14.

Brockers, without a doubt.

Poe and Coples is who I don't want at 14. In a trade down maybe but 14 is too pricey for both.

Vontaze Burfict. A couple of times in mocks I have considered him, but he's a train wreck.
I actually hope the Redskins, Eagles, or Giants take him.

Richardson, Blackmon, tannehill or any qb in the first round including Luck, and Janoris Jenkins.

What? If Andrew Luck fell to #14, you'd pass on him?

Poe in Round 1. Not sure you can teach poor snap awareness and a bad motor. Definately don't think you should have to at #14.
Vontaze Burfict in any round.

Yes. Not because he's a bad player, but because we have more pressing needs. What good is to have a great qb when the talent around him isn't very good. (oline and defensive side of ball). We have an elite QB now whose talent is going to waste. Same would happen with Luck. Fix the trenches and secondary first then you worry about the qb.

Coples. He's an absolute dog. Justin Blackmon, I don't trust Big XII WRs from Air Raid offenses who don't have elite athletic talent.

Poe, Coples, Brockers...I think all three have a high chance at being complete busts and we absolutely can't afford not to get a high quality starter with our first round pick this year. Prefer the safer picks of Barron or DeCastro or even Upshaw with a slight trade back....all I feel are much safer picks to pencil in as quality starters for at least the next 4-5 years.

Poe and brockers are the two for me. I really believe they will not turn out to be big time players

Kirkpatrick. I think he is overrated and will get abused my smaller, quicker wideouts.

This really should have been made as a poll. If I weren't busy at work, I'd do it.

DON'T WANT:
- Dontari Poe or Quinton Coples anywhere in the 1st.
- Vontaze Burfict anywhere in the Draft.

I don't want Coples or Poe in the first round, and don't want Brockers at #14.
I don't want Bruce Irvin until at least round three. His arrest the night after his pro day shows some very poor decision-making, but I think the right atmosphere and a set regimen could help him get himself straightened out.
I don't want LB Vontaze Burfict, OT Mike Adams, CB Cliff Harris, CB Janoris Jenkins, CB Alfonzo Dennard, or anyone else with significant off-the-field issues in any round.

Definitely, Poe... i see some of you dont want Brockers, but i feel that will be our selection at 14.

Coples because he is lazy.
Kirkpatrick because he's overrated.
DeCastro because Silatolu will be a better pro and can be had in the second round....maybe.

I can say I'm wary of some of the players who might be available at 14, but I'll give any of them a chance before I cry over the choice.
Guess I prefer an optimistic viewpoint.
With Poe, we would be getting a very big man with great movement skills for his size. He needs work to reach his potential, but his potential is sky-high.
With Brockers, we'd get another big man with potential who was a double-team magnet at LSU.
With Coples, we would be getting a player who showed his dominating ability at the Senior Bowl and might be more motivated to prove people wrong about his attitude than anyone knows.
Now, I'd prefer Cox, DeCastro or Barron at 14 or a trade down into the 20s for someone like Glenn, possibly Konz or Zeitler, but I'm just not going to knock the pick until I try it.

Yep, this would be my 3 as well.
Brockers is a run stuffer and couldnt rush the passer worth jack in college, so he magically is going to start racking up sacks in the pros? Dont think so.
Poe did jack in Conference USA, so he was either taking downs off or getting his arse handed to him by scrubs on a weekly basis. Either way, I am avoiding him like he was the Ebola virus.
Couples, like other posters have stated, looked half asleep most of the time. That tells me that he really didnt want to be out there playing or that he was so out of shape that he was fatigued by the end of the first series. Either way, I am taking a pass on him as well.
My 3 favs..........DeCastro, Barron, Cox.

Upshaw, Ingram, Kirkpatrick and Coples, although I think the chances of us taking any of them are reasonably low.
Brockers is growing on me given what I've read here by SDogo and others whom I trust and I've always been okay with Poe, despite the very real, legitimate concerns everyone has about him.
