we'll be sorry. Whoever he plays for will reap immediate benefits.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if we picked him at #20. Drafting him at #11?

Hell No!

I'll take him at 20 every time.

Pollack is the only "sure thing" in the draft, you know exactly what you get from him, every play...A true playmaker..

Agree - can't go wrong with Pollack - situational 4-3 end with FOOTBALL instincts to play 3-4 OLB.....

pollack kinda reminds me of randy white. at DT - "short arms" never hurt him. strong, quick, with non-stop motor. too bad we already have glover.

on the other hand - depth never kills ya.

There's no such thing as a 'sure thing' in the draft.

That said, I think Pollack will be a decent player. Never a star, but he'll be a contributor and will aid your defense.

That's true, I don't remember what pick Chris Spielman was taken with but he was a heck of a football player. In ten years when he's making plays it won't matter. Darren Woodson was taken in the second.

He won't be on the board at 20. You guys don't mind Merriman at 11 but you'd object to Pollack? Similar game stats from college (although I think Pollacks were a little better), Merriman is one inch taller (whoop-dee-do) and Pollack is much quicker. No brainer to me. Pollack just seems like more of a blood and guts football player to me. That's what we need.

I think some of these smallish tweener DE's will drop into round 2.

Bingo. That's who I think of also.

Although the bad part of me thinks he also may be a Chris Zorich, the super productive Notre Dame defensive tackle who Jimmy Johnson sent flowers to after his dad or mom passed, and who I thought the Cowboys would take in the 1991/1992 draft. He didn't turn out to be too spectacular because he was too small for the DT position. (The Bears took him I think).

I have this feeling Pollack is who the Cowboys are targeting and will drop down #11 to get him.

Spielman was taken in the second round by Detroit.

I hope he is the one Dallas is targeting. They better not drop down too far, though, or he'll be gone. He'll go in the top 20.
