If Upshaw somehow falls all the way to 55-60, should the Jones'es move up to take him? What would it take to get there?

He won't. Guys like this go early in the second round. We're going to have to trade future picks/players to get in the 2nd round of this years draft.

I seriously doubt he falls that far, but nobody thought he would make it out of the 1st either. I don't think it WILL happen, but IF he made it to 62 (Pats) they may want to trade back and get more picks in this draft... Admittedly, I don't know much about the value charts so I'm curious about what it would take.

Most had him "dropping" like a rock in the week leading up to the draft. He's too much a tweener with the worst qualities of each...the stiffness of a DE but the leverage of an OLB to go high.

Yeah, I don't know why Upshaw is the guy everyone's surprised fell to the 2nd round. He's a lackluster physical talent, a tweener and apparently has some personal red flags. If there's a "slider" in this draft the Cowboys should go after it's Glenn and Fleener.

Several mocks had Jacksonville taking Upshaw in the 1st--thought that was a stretch.
But now they may land him in the second while still getting Blackmon.

Another Anthony Spencer?
...In the late second, I still don't know if it would be such a bad pick up. I think it depends on how much it would take to get there. If he could perform to the level of Spencer (who I'm not crazy about), he would be a much cheaper option at SOLB for the next 4 years.

I'd be happy with either of them as well

I'd rather trade up for Branch than Upshaw

He's sliding because he's not that good.

Hoping against hope, Dallas showed plenty of interest in him.

So if he's not good enough to be a 2nd round pick now, in which round is he good enough to go? We can't take him in the first anymore, we're talking about late 2/early 3 here. At some point during this process, he is good enough to pick.

I expect Upshaw to be off the board within the first 10 picks tonight. You're gonna see a run of all your targets in the first half of the 2nd round.

I'd take a flyer on him.

Yep. It's going to be frustrating to watch, unless Jerry makes a move up for Glenn or Konz.

3rd pick of the 2nd round. That didn't take long.

If Upshaw is playing SOLB for the Ravens, I would throw on him every down.
