Jerry trades our first or second round pick next year to jump back into the top half of the second round tonight to get a guy they really want?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I kind of expect our 2013 2nd-rounder to be fully in play tonight. I'll be shocked if we trade the 1st-rounder, though.

a first no way...second if they can grab a player they covet then yes

I would be honestly. Jerry values picks too much.

....It wouldn't surprise me.....for better or worse, he loves to wheel and deal. I will say this though: they REALLY hid their feeling on Claiborne well. It was awesome and way overdue. I've been on his arse and this organizations arse for leaks over the years: the old saying "loose lips sinks ships'' would apply here. GREAT job of keeping the Claiborne move under wraps

Better not be a first round. And I could see us doing that with a 2nd for next year. Or a package of a player(s), plus some later picks...

I would be. Jerry isn't that dumb. He is and always be a shrewd businessman, as well as his son.

I think Jerry only trades future first round picks when he is trading for a WR from another team. :o:

Personally, I don't like tapping into future drafts (unless it's acquiring more picks). I think your priorities and your options are different every year, so I don't like taking away from a future draft. I would much rather him trade away this year's picks (and players) than giving up anything from next year's.

Its obvious Jerry is now playing for it all now , I have no problem going up and grabbing a game changing pass rusher(curry) or a C (Glenn?) .

Id be intrigued by Fleener myself .

Other than that stay put .

Would shock me. Jerry won't give up next years 1st for any of the guys still on the board. And our 2013 2nd doesn't get you into the top half of the 2nd.

IF he believes we make the playoffs this year then next years pick will be in the 20's. I could see him rationalizing trading it away.

From the sounds of Jerry it does not seem he is expecting much to happen.

I don't think he will offer 2013's 1st or 2nd rounder.

Maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder . . . .

I think the 2013 2nd rounder will be in play if a player we want falls far enough. Who that is, at what point we will try to make a move I don't know.

I would love to get up to #34 and grab Glenn.

It wouldn't surprise me, but I'd be pretty upset and disappointed considering the QB rich class coming out next year. I want us to have some good cards at that table.

I will not be suprised at all. The way this draft is going and were talking about jerry jones...anything can happen.

I'd be surprised. I don't see them using future picks. Now packaging a couple late picks to grab a guy at the end of the second would surprise me too much, but I don't see them using 2013 picks tonight.

He wont move the first rounder. Second maybe. Should get a comp pick for Marty B.

You don't give away next year's #1 unless there is someone you really love and had a first round grade on...I can't imagine there are more than 1-2 players left with first round grades, if any...sometimes the guys taken at the bottom of one didn't have first round grades.
