I like what Mr. Jones and Coach Garrett pick......we as fans must support our Team!
We are lucky to have ownership who loves our Team!:star:

Nope, I'm actually happy to see Konz fall. Justifies all the heck I took from certain people for my opinions of him. As bad as some claim the DeCastro groupies were, the Konz ones were almost butt hurt if you were not on board with him.
There is a reason(s) he is still on the board but according to some, they dont exist.

At what point do you think he is a good value? Late second, early third?

That sounds about right, In my final rankings I had him listed as a 2-3 player. The buzz on him around the league was entirely negative. Lacks strength, bad footwork, short arms, health issues...

lets not go overboard...you were talking 4th round at one point..its a little early to start patting yourself on the back

At one point, just like anyone else the board is fluid. I think it will end up being in the middle of my high and low on him.
I do think the odds are good he goes sometime in the last 10 picks of this round

David Moore is on with Norm and said he was told there is no one they'd trade up this high for. He said *maybe* at the bottom of the round, but even then they didn't expect it.

all the interior linemen fell this draft. Which pisses me off in one respect because we really could use more talent there. That is maybe the one thing about getting Claiborne that hurts a little; we could have gotten on of those big uglies.
But I am snickering at how far Cordy Glenn fell; his homers had him going before DeCastro and he fell 17 slots lower.

Stephen was on 103.3 today and said he really didn't expect anything to happen. Said someone would have to approach them and blow them away. He could've been bluffing but it sounded like he meant it.
Also confirmed it was 99% we'd have taken Brockers if we stayed at 14. I'm sure that's already been discussed, though.

For some reason everytime someone mentioned him all i could think of that dang lineman everyone was screaming for a couple years back that went undrafted. CAN NOT REMEMBER HIS NAME:banghead:
I know this is not as dramatic but......

I'm shocked Devon Still is still there. They say his motor is in question but I really never saw that at PSU. That's not something Paterno would have tolerated.

"I would hope you would support who we are, and not who we are not" - Norman Dale (Hoosiers)
That said, I guess we'll have to see how it plays out over the next few years. But Konz would have been a nice player to get.

I think he is better suited for a DT in a 4-3 to be honest where he can use his quickness inside.

Impossible. I was assured my wet dreams of DeCastro at 14 and Konz at 45 were really pipe dreams because both guys would be gone at those spots.

We picked the best defensive player in the draft. That's it. We can't look at it and thin brockers and konz would have been better value. I would have been pretty pissed ending up with brockers

I think he is going to be a good pro. Maybe not elite, but he will be solid. He can pursue from the backside very well. If he were there when we picked I would excited to take him.

there was a burst of O line in the early part of the 2nd and then it stopped. The way Konz has fallen is very interesting; Adams was no surprise with his off field problems and poor combine showing. Ben Jones is probably the next one to go; he is due according to most prognosticators

Eh I don't know about reaches. DeCastro falling to 24 was him getting caught up in a poor "needs" situation. I don't think anyone would've bat an eye if he went much higher. This Konz situation is interesting and I'm sure heavily influenced by his medical.

me too, i don't want him. there are other centers to be had in the 3rd.
actually, i wonder what the chance is of him not getting drafted. he has a ton of concerns, one of the major ones being his health issue which could potentially be a life threatening issue.
