With the NFL expected to release the 2005 regular-season schedule on Wednesday, the Cowboys at least finalized the dates and times of their four preseason games on Tuesday. The Cowboys will kick off the exhibition games in Arizona on Aug. 13 for a Saturday night game at Sun Devil Stadium. The Cowboys will fly back for their final week of training camp in Oxnard, Calif. after playing the Cardinals. Once the team breaks camp on Aug. 21, the Cowboys will head up to Seattle for a Monday Night game with the Seahawks on Aug. 22. Following that game, the Cowboys will return to Dallas to prepare for the start of the regular season.

But before the season opener, which has already been set for Sept. 11 in San Diego, the Cowboys will wrap up the preseason schedule with a pair of home games against Houston on Aug. 27 and then a Thursday night game hosting Jacksonville on Sept. 1.

Other than playing the Seahawks on ABC's Monday Night Football, the remaining three preseason games will be broadcasted by Blue Star Broadcasting in the five-state region of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Those games will be carried by KTVT/CBS in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Cowboys have never beaten the Seahawks (0-3) or the Cardinals (0-2) in the preseason. And their series' with both Houston (1-1) and Jacksonville (2-2) remain tied heading into this year's games.

The Cowboys finished 3-1 in the preseason a year ago, including wins in the last three games. However, they followed that with a 6-10 record, missing the playoffs once again for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
