One of the more interesting players at this camp is Prairie View A&M's Adrian Hamilton. The outside linebacker, who played his high school ball at Carter, had 20 1/2 sacks for the Panthers last season. "He's had a good start to this minicamp,'' Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said.

"You can see in the workouts we've had that he does have some athletic ability. He chases the ball well, he has some natural pass rush moves, and he seems to have some capability to drop in coverage as well."

Awesome to hear.

I'm really hoping we have found something in this kid.

Does he make the the practice squad? It'd be nice to be able to develope a guy with possibly great upside.

I don't see any reason why he couldn't displace Victor Butler or Alex Albright on the 2012 roster.

It seems obvious that the team does not have much faith in Butler - for whatever reasons they have - and I don't see Butler in the team's long-term plans.

I can see Hamilton making the active roster.

If this guy continues to impress, and is at least some of what everyone seems to think he is, then there is no way he makes it to the practice squad.

Unless he gets injured of course.

The man will make the team. He will be a force in 2-3 years. He's a baller. That's just something you can't teach.

Anyone besides me thinking just bring him in on obvious passing downs and turn him loose?

I agree. I am so excited to see what Rob does in obvious passing situations. I'd love to see Ratliff and Crawford rushing from the inside. And then Hamilton, Ware and maybe Butler rushing as well. Talk about pressure! Then use one safety and 4 corners

If he isn't feeling the heat yet he will soon. We have too many OLB's and he is in for a fight to keep his roster spot.

I hope he makes the team. I think we would lose him if we tried to stash him on the PS.

.......he hasn't done too much IMO....he's undersized and gets ENGULFED by bigger, more physical Otackles........he's on thin ice.

Yes. My sentiment exactly. Why we never have allowed Butler to do the same is beyond me.

Call me cray but i like him better than wilbur on the strong side. WIlbur seems more ready to back ware physically.
