Thanks to a thread over at extremeskins that has a screenshot of the NFL Schedule that was flashed on the NFL Network earlier, I came up with this breakdown of the Cowboys Home/Away Schedule for 2005. I can't be certain of the bye week because the screen wasn't that clear and it is tiny to start with but from what I see my best guess is that it falls in week 9.

Here's the thread with the screen for those interested. Home games are solid, Away games are in white. Dallas is the first column on the left ( going down :D )

http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=98651

1 - We all know we're @ SD

2 - @ HOME - might be a Sunday/Monday nighter because of the GREEN box

3 - On the road - not sure if AFC or NFC

4 - On the road - not sure if AFC or NFC

5 - @ HOME vs. NFC team

6 - On the road - not sure if AFC or NFC

7 - @ HOME vs. KC if the report of Denver on Thanksgiving is true, else DEN

8 - On the road - Seattle from the same thread on extremeskins

9 - Bye?

10 - On the road - not sure if AFC or NFC

11 - @ HOME vs. NFC team

12 - @ HOME vs. DEN for Thanksgiving, else it's KC

13 - On the road - not sure if AFC or NFC

14 - @ HOME vs. NFC team

15 - On the road - not sure if AFC or NFC

16 - @ HOME vs. NFC team

17 - @ HOME vs. NFC team (might be Sunday/Monday because of GOLD box) or it might be one of the games they reserve the right to change if a better/more intriguing game is scheduled

So the breakdown is this by my calculation (like I said, can't be sure of the bye)

Away
Home
Away
Away
Home
Away
Home
Away
Bye
Away
Home
Home
Away
Home
Away
Home
Home

Hey, I'm bored and it should give you guys something to discuss until 2 this afternoon when all will be revealed.

Nice to have the last 2 games at home. Also it sounds like we will play the Beagles in Philly first, instead of going there late in the season.

I hope this is right!

Definitely something to chew on for the next couple hours.

All I know is if it's Denver for the TG game and they have to wear throwbacks, I'm going to puke. They're orange throwbacks were blinding me the last time.:banghead:

Hmmm. is it true that women pick their football pool winners and place their bets on the teams whose uniforms match their favorite colors

Personally, I've never done that, but I can't speak for all of us. :)

Well now that Woodsons retired, who's your new fav When someone's your fav player, retirement means nothing. My member name is simply a small tribute to a guy who did alot on the field for this franchise.

There's quite a few guys on the team I admire, but none who I'm ready to say this my new fav Cowboy player.

A closet skin? HOW DARE YOU!!!??? :p: Just kidding jk, but I do mosey on over there every now and then to revel in their misery and I stumbled across that gem. They don't have it yet, someone was lucky enough to capture a screenshot from NFL Network that they threw up really quickly of the entire schedule while advertising that they would be releasing it today. With some help from the original poster I deduced that Dallas was the very first column. After that it was easy, except for the bye, which I believe is week 9, but could be week 3 or 4 as well. I personally am hoping for week 9.
