View Full Version : Met David Beckham and Landon Donovan Today

L.A. Galaxy was in DC today to meet the President and do the customary championship team visit...

I got a chance to shoot the bull with David Beckham for a little bit, and let me tell you, that guy is by far one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He was super cool and suave, but at the same time completely down to earth. After about 5 minutes I forgot who I was talking to and it was like talking to an old buddy.

Landon Donovan was a nice guy too, but much more reserved. Strikes me as more of the quiet type.

All in all a good day. Unfortunately no pics (I was on the clock) but Beckham was an awesome dude. If I were picking a favorite pro soccer team it would be the LA Galaxy based on this experience alone.

Thats cool man. People in England would be super jelly.


Im going to watch Galaxy play FC Dallas in July. There is 3 or 4 US Soccer players in that game + Beckham so im excited.




BTW if you missed Beckhams goal this past weekend here it is.

I worked a flight she was on. She was demanding & snobby. And to bad for me that David was not with her! She is very pretty though.
