A brave soldier blinded by the IRA won a £200,000 payout today over his 'inhumane treatment' in a new job at a council office.
Private Andrew Bull, 48, lost the sight in both eyes in a bombing in Belfast - but was delighted to start a new life as a telephonist despite his disability.
But an employment tribunal was told he was 'harassed and victimised' after he failed to join a two-day strike by council workers.
