OXNARD, Calif. – If you’re scoring at home, Tony Romo (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5209/tony-romo) completed 19 of 29 passes in team and seven-on-seven drills during the Cowboys’ first training camp practice of 2012.
Romo completed 10 passes to wide receivers, with Dez Bryant (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/13215/dez-bryant) his favorite target, five to running backs and four to tight ends.
Backup quarterback Kyle Orton (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/8520/kyle-orton) completed 11 of 15 passes and was intercepted once.
On to the observations:
** On the first play of the fourth period of team drills, LB DeMarcus Ware (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/8426/demarcus-ware) was unblocked and was able to make a stop of RB DeMarco Murray (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/14005/demarco-murray) behind the line of scrimmage. Murray tried to spin away but Ware would have made the play.
