Here’s what stood out from Day 1 of Cowboys’ training camp practices Monday in Oxnard, Calif.:

Three skydivers parachuted onto the practice fields to open training camp, energizing a crowd of 5,266 fans lined up along the fences.
During the “blue practice” that consists of only the young players, CB Teddy Williams intercepted a pass that was under-thrown by QB Stephen McGee.
QB Tony Romo rolled right and overthrew WR Miles Austin on his first pass of the afternoon practice. Romo, however, was right on target throughout most of the two-hour practice for veterans.
Danny McCray and Barry Church lined up at first-team safety on Day 1 with Gerald Sensabaugh (right knee injury) and Brodney Pool (failed conditioning test) not able to practice.

On Pool's not passing the test...that's kind of like looking for a win-o at a crack house.

Coach's eyes will roll, and then they will get down to business.
