Pirates of the Carribean...What have I been waiting for?

Just watched the first three of these movies over the last week at the request of my daughter for the first time. I absolutely loved them. Gonna watch the 4th one in the next day or so.

The first one is classic... much like sequels, they aren't as good... but still great...

I really liked "At World's End". This is one of those series I want to run out and buy to have on Bluray.

I liked 'em all. Just plain fun, big budget movies that delivered, IMO. I'm sure I could find fault, but I refuse to look for it.

Worth way more than the price of admission I paid to get to go along for the ride each of the movies in the series took me on, I always felt. But I liked Pirate movies as a kid, too... so maybe that's had something to do with it.

IMO, great movies but each one in succession did get a little more cornier, but still worth watching.

First one was excellent.
Second one was a very good, fun movie.
Third one was.... not very good
Fourth I did not watch because of the Third being so bad in terms of plot.

At World's End is the best, then Dead Man's Chest, then Black Pearl then way WAY down the line after that is On Stranger Tides. It's not anywhere close to the quality of the original trilogy. Depp and Rush are still good, but that's about it.

åI think the 4th (Stranger Tides) is EASILY the worst of the series, but they are all fun. The 1st is my personal favorite, but I'm also partial to Bill Nighy's Davy Jones in Dead Man's Chest and World's End.

Nighy is one of the most underrated character actors in the biz.

Hell, I wish they had a TV show featuring Capt. Jack Sparrow. Depp plays that character so perfectly. I enjoyed all of them. they are very entertaining.

I enjoyed all of them. Sure a little corny and cheesy but I was entertained.

For me it goes 1,3,2,4. For some reason I really liked the third, probably because of the epic battle at the end.
