I have to admit though, that was very clever. Dudes windows are down.

From I have seen they are pretty common in Europe.

Probably for insurance reasons. I'd imagine that getting a claim in such high density areas is pretty hard and having footage eliminates all question of fault.

That was exactly what I was thinking the whole time. Why was this guy recording that? If it wasn't staged, very messed up, but very clever.

Most likely staged. I wouldn't let a guy like that in either. I let people in if they signal and arn't trying to dive in. If they try to push or dive their way in or don't have a signal i don't let them go either.

It all depends on how I feel that day :).

I had a bad case of road rage against me when I first moved to AZ in 2006. I cut a guy off because I almost missed my turn. There then was a stop light, the guy pulled up beside me (I was in the left turn lane) and he got out of his car (he had his whole family inside, wife and 2 kids), he tried to open my doors, which automatically lock and he kept yelling at me. I rolled down my window just a tad and grabbed my taser that I carry in my car and cracked it a bit and the guy walked away. :laugh2:

I think you and are might be the same person. LOL. Another thing I hate is when you ACTUALLY let someone in, and they don't give you the "thanks for letting me in wave". So rude.

*on a side note. Had I got splashed like that..I'd probably follow that dude home.

Looks like the car was trying to follow the SVU home.

If it is fake, it is a highly produced one. It would require a lot of planning to get all the cars in the area involved including the ones in the on coming traffic lanes.

Both drivers were acting very childish, one of them should have backed off and let a car get ahead of them, sigh.

+1. People act like it's the end of the frigging world that someone wants to get in front of them. A space is worth the damage to your car or worse if it really gets out of hand.

This reminds of the Russian guy that smashed his way through the Nissan dealer. Them Russian roads must be hell. :o:

This.

I always let people in, .. what's the big deal.

That way I never get angry driving.

Very common in many parts of the world.

Very common in many parts of the world.

I've considered it. With my commute and the way people drive I can either make damned funny little movie or supply evidence in the event some ***-hat hits me and makes a spurious claim.

But who really has time for that?

I have thought about that as well. It would be nice to share some of the things I see while driving around with others. For example, the two different times I have seen someone on a motorcycle carrying an 8 ft long 2x4 across their bike.

I find that if I let someone in, then he's ahead of me and will do damage to someone else if his (or her) bad habits persist. Most of the time I encounter the person who rushed past me at the next set of lights.
Both of those drivers would likely get some attention from a police officer at some point, depending on how aggressively they continue to drive.

BTW, the thought of anyone carrying lumber on a motorcycle is just plain bizarre.

Across. I thought about following them to see if they avoided a wreck to where ever they were going. I guess to them it seemed like a better idea than renting a truck.

I found the video on Yahoo I think and it was from a news cast that said the windows were down.

Not sure if they had extra footage or what but that's what they said.

Yeah, this would have been so much better with video evidence.
They must have stuck to some pretty wide streets. Or scraped a ton of cars.
