Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders said a couple of cornerbacks on the Cowboys roster are making him smile after watching Saturday night’s preseason game against the San Diego Chargers. Sanders said he was proud and anxious to see how the season unfolds because of the play of guys like Brandon Carr.

“He has a lot of pressure on him because they paid him a king’s ransom that he earned,” Sanders said on the Ben and Skin Show [KESN-FM]. “But when you come over from another team you have to prove yourself to a whole new locker room full of guys that are full of expectations. Now he’s the bell cow. He’s that cornerback that should line up in front of the DeSean Jacksons, in front of [Victor] Cruz and in front of these guys that’s in your division that you need to dominate.”
