RelatedEAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Stepping into the room used by the New York Giants' defensive linemen is like walking into a game.
Everything is a competition. Getting off the best joke. Hitting more baskets. Claiming bragging rights for most tackles and most sacks. And making the best plays in practice, preseason and, of course, games.
It never ends, and this is just competition among teammates.
Imagine when the defensive line of the Super Bowl champions goes against someone they want to really beat, like the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL season opener Wednesday night at MetLife Stadium.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo better be ready.
At least that's the game plan for what might be the NFL's best defensive line.

The Giants are going to get to Romo a few times, but he is also going to have opportunities to make some plays. Same can be said about Eli, I just think Dallas' secondary is better then the Giants this season.

I think our linebackers are better, too.

Romo will have to be elusive to be sure but a good dose of DeMarco will help.
Using Murray in space will help too, then Romo will have some options.
Romo MUST exploit the secondary issues the Giants have right now!
They will get to him some but I think Dez and Austin will be full go!

Pretty sure Romo is very excited about Wednesday Night just like the rest of us.

I am really excited to see Tyron match up against JPP for years to come. That could be the match up that determines the game. If he can lock him down 1v1 that allows the offense to do a lot more.

A heave dose of Murray will slow them down and hit then with play action and start expoing their secondary.
Maybe, just maybe, Romo will finally have a defense to keep him from having to be perfect.

"Why" Tony Romo might be fearing? Okay, first off, that doesn't even make sense. WHO Tony Romo might be fearing, yes. But why? What, is this guy stupid or something?

I think Romo just can't wait to play the Giants and I've bet they have a gameplan on beating them. Keep in mind that if it weren't for our pourous defense then we could have won the first time we played them last year. We were a few plays of knocking them out of the playoffs. I think its going to be a close game. But I believe Romo is up to the challenge.

The Dallas Cowbous are coming for the Giants. If they aren't ready than they will get beat. Simple as that.

JPP is begining to take over for Brandon "im the most worthless player in the league" Jacobs. Hope he gets his *** whooped by Tyron.

Eli will get sacked more than Romo. I just hope we are smart the way we blitz otherwise Wilson and Bradshaw have the potential to really hurt us on screens.

Romo needs to take advantage of NY's banged up secondary. I agree, Giants will sack Romo a few times, but hopefully not at critical situations, like 3rd down.
But Romo also has a chance to burn NY more than they will have a chance to sack him..dependent on OL play obviously.

i dont think its wise to leave Tyron one on one with JPP,he has problems with speed rushers.
Romo is a grown *** man I'm quite sure he doesn't fear playing a football game.
"Fear" can be a strong word,,, but people are goofy if they don't think getting pounded and having bones broken EVERY YEAR doesn't affect a QB's thoughts and actions...

"might" is such a powerful word..
"Eli Manning might come down with strep throat before Wednesday night"
"Michael Strahan might lose that gap between his teeth between now and Wednesday night"
"Tony Romo might open an ice cream parlor named 'Romolicious Dishes' before Wednesday night."
"Jerry Jones might have 3 hair transplants and grow a 1970s style Afro before Wednesday night"
I might think that media articles keying off the world 'might' can border on the surreal.
