IRVING, Texas – A depleted cornerback corps was the Giants’ primary personnel concern entering the season opener.

That continues to be the case after Tony Romo (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5209/tony-romo) picked apart the New York secondary for 307 yards and three touchdowns.

However, it’s inaccurate to say the Cowboys simply exploited the Giants’ weak links over and over again. Sure, they had success against Michael Coe (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/10616/michael-coe) and Justin Tryon (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/11361/justin-tryon), a couple of journeyman corners forced into significant roles because of injuries to Terrell Thomas (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/11297/terrell-thomas) (season-ending torn ACL) and Prince Amukamara (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/13975/prince-amukamara) (high ankle sprain).

But the Cowboys had their most success in the air when attacking Corey Webster (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/8457/corey-webster), the Giants’ best corner.

But the media "experts" won't see it that way.

Who in the NFL has been able to cover Miles or Dez without help?

That is the reason our offense is good, you have to give help on those two, but do that and Murray is going to be running wild up front. Oh yea and dont forget about Jason Witten. Pick your poison.

It's a very nice point made here that even their best corner got beaten by all 3 of our WR's.

That has to make people feel pretty good about our match ups with pretty much any corners when our guys are healthy.

Yea I can't stress how many times i've seen or heard the only reason Romo had success was because of a 4th or 5th corner.

Since they were down to their 4th and 5th string Cbs, we should have went to 4 WR set a little. Go for the jugular.:D
