Columnist Tim Cowlishaw answered questions in a chat Thursday. Here are some highlights.

Comment From DJames ... Looks like another Labor misstep by the Union Refs, in the great tradition of say Air Traffic Controllers and Chicago Firefighters, historically speaking. What do you think the refs next move should be Tim? Plan A is going down the money tubes.

Tim Cowlishaw: Plan B better be accepting life with a 401K. Everyone else does. And officiating isn't even their full-time job. Horrible miscalculation.

Comment From The One ... Do you see the Cowboys maybe having a letdown in their next game against the Seahawks? Lose that game and they would be right where most thought they'd be after two games...1-1.
Tim Cowlishaw: Well, your math is correct, but the game is 10 days away. Hard to believe this team will just assume it's job is finished and just show up in Seattle. No idea what problems Russell Wilson might pose, how healthy Lynch might be -- certainly he'll be scarier than Ahmad Bradshaw -- but I suspect Cowboys young players will want to perform. Can't imagine Ogletree isn't anxious to get out there and do it again.

I really hope a rookie QB does not beat this team. I don't think the team will look past Seattle though.

Times have really changed when you start freting about a 5'10 rookie QB in his second game. I'm not saying the team is a pushover, but what happened to the learning curve.

Mo will have his first pick against the Seahawks.

I think the Cowboys need to destroy the C-hoks to get some respect. Then again, I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm still trying to recover from all those 44-3 victory predictions for the Pickle Bowl.

I want a win, and I want a beat down. I want the Cowboys to go to the Pacific NW and stomp the C-hoks. I'm itching.

If the game was in Dallas I wouldn't even give the Seahawks a chance.

Weird things happen up there.

I wanna watch the Zona - C-hoks game today. Just to see how good or bad the C-hoks are.

Pre-season indications show that the C-hoks won't be a good team. But who knows? I wasn't expecting us to beat the Gnats either.

The C-hoks may come out on fire like we did. You never know.

I don't know. I'm starting to see some late love for the Seahawks this year. I find it hard to believe. I don't believe in the head coach and the QB is a 5 foot nothing rookie.

I will be watching them today though.

I just don't see this team having a let down under Garrett, at least preparation wise etc. Garrett mantra of one play, one practice and one day at a time is great Philosophy. It doesn't let you see ahead or think ahead.

After many years, finally I don't feel Cowboys will be complacent. Doesn't mean that they can't be beat. Ball can bounce funny ways sometimes and injuries etc. can effect it etc. But preparation/or being ready I don't think will be an issue under Garrett anymore.

Their QB is also dirty. Russell Wilson can ball.

Seattle is a very tough place to play... They must take this game very serious.

Seahawks lost to the Cardinals 16-20. I know that's not saying much since we lost to them last year but this is a different team. Dallas will be ready to go.

There is so many close games in the NFL that we could make 1 or 2 plays that keep Seattle in it for 4 quarters.

I expect a tough game up in Seattle.

Bet Romo goes into this game with an attitude. After all, it was all that botched play in Seattle in 2006 which many use to continue to taunt him. We gotta win but sure would love to see us blow them out--on both sides of the ball. How about 45-10? Should cause our detractors to pause & give us little more credit for beating up Giants.
