How to attach a picture? Help!

Can someone help me understand how to attach a picture to a post on this forum. It asks for the URL? I don't have a URL just the photo,

You'll have to upload it to an image host first. Then get the url of the image and post that -->photo here<--

I take it the image is on your computer.

So you need to move your image from the computer to a image hosting site online.

Go to the above site, sign up and upload the image to the site.

From there you can copy and paste the URL for the image.

I also recommend using something like http://gethyperdesktop.com/ to quickly take screenshots of things and have them automatically uploaded to imgur.
