Cornerback Brandon Carr said the Cowboys were game for a second-half rally, but they couldn’t match the effort of the Seahawks.
“We were fighting, but at the same time, those guys had the momentum, and they out-executed us,” he said.
“Once we were down, we’ve been in that situation before. Guys were ready to go out there and just keep fighting,” Carr said. “But you know, second half, they turned it up a notch, and we couldn’t match that.”
“We know the capabilities of what we have in our locker room,” he said. “I’ve been around these guys for a while now. I know the pride and fight that they’ve got.”

my only real fear in this game is Carr got to finally look under the hood of this team and what he saw wasnt good. No panic here. Lets see what happens against Bucs and Bears. Then we will have good idea of what team Dallas has this year.

I feel like the next 2 games will tell the whole story. We've got the big early win that we thought we had a good chance to lose and then the let down.

Love Carr, but he's also coming from a lousy team KC.

Did anyone ask "Why" you weren't able to match the Seahawks?

The history of this team is, when we get punched in the mouth first, we rarely ever punch back. This is what the Eagles usually do to us. I was interested to see if this team had really changed mentally and would be able to show me if things were going to be different. They have not changed my mind, yet. In some ways, I can't even blame Garrett, as this happened with Parcells, Campo and Wade. For whatever reason, we have a locker room of nice guys that never seem to have the heart and mind to step on an opponents throat from the first kick-off.

Thanks brandon, same ole' yak yak. Glad to see you have been indoctrinated to the company.
Soft teams kicked their a$$ kicked. Cowboys are soft, this won't be the first time they play like they did yesterday.
Just wait till they travel to baltimore and play the steelers.
Maybe with that top 15 pick next year, JJ will draft a quality OL or DL.

The Cowboys simply aren't quite the team they seemed to be when they beat the Giants in game one. If anyone needs proof, the Giants nearly lost to Tampa Bay yesterday. Their secondary even made Tampa Bay look like an offensive juggernaut for a while there until the G-men pulled it out late. We may be better than we were last year but not by much, especially on offense. The OL doesn't generate the push in the running game to beat the better defenses and Seattle is one team that fits into that category, especially at home. Will our OL improve? Perhaps they will but I'd be reluctant to bet on it. Defensively, we're still too vulnerable to a decent running game. I'm sure the players on this team are aware of their shortcomings, especially with respect to the O-line and their confidence is limited accordingly. That much seemed fairly obvious throughout the entire game Sunday in Seattle. Needless to say, our special teams are nothing special. There's a lotta work to do.

While our receivers were dropping balls left and right in the first half they were open. If the OL is so bad how was that? Clearly Seattle turned it up a notch and we seemed not to be able to match that. And clearly, to me, Seattle made some adjustments at the half that we never figured out how to get around. I haven't looked at the game again but I'd guess we were outcoached in the 2nd half as well as out played.
I still say it's difficult to give up 10 points off the bat and beat a team at home. Then you throw an INT right after that. You're aren't going to beat a lot of teams doing that. When we got behind 20-7 the game changed to one of catch up and without a running game that makes you very vulnerable. You're going to look like crap when you get put into that position. I don't care how talented you are in that situation.
