I'm curious to see what, IF ANYTHING, Denver has to do with this.

I think that he probably would have called them to find out about Pryce.

I am not interested.

i would say 2 things, first, its bargaining between denver for pryce, and saints with howard, for cheapter draft choice, or more like a second, than the third,
2nd, if not trade for trevor, maybe trade offer for pete hunter to denver, since he just signed

OR...you could have just looked in the Howard thread to see that it was merged with that thread. :)

Is this fabricated? What factually has happened?

That's what I want to know......

Someone had said Pacells said he needed to talk to Denver.
I want to know if this is hearsay, or an actual interview that some has seen.

BrainPaint....relax

they were inteviewing the cowboys, went to parcells, parcells said going to be a busy next 2 days, then he said he had to leave, Denver called him back, so he had to go call them.

Interesting. I wonder if he said that just so word would get to the Saints so he can try and revive the Howard deal and get some leverage with it at the same time.

I wouldn't want Pryce, and I'm not that excited about Howard either (depending on what defense we run). Although if we get Howard that keeps us in the 4-3 and then we could draft Derrick Johnson (if available) and he'd be a good Weakside backer in the 4-3.

I'd still draft a DE at 20 though (if the value is there). We could move Howard inside on passing downs (he supposedly got 8 of his sacks last year at the DT position) and play the rookie at RE on passing downs. Ellis, GLover, Howard, and the Rookie in our nickel defense sounds promising.

Two more days... things have picked up the last couple of days, but something tells me the craziness is just getting started.

Someone is pulling our Keyshawn "Johnson"

right, thats what im thinking, parcells can show the saints he has another offer, maybe pryce, and a number 2 pick, for our number 1, or like i mentioned, might just be a trade to denver dealing patrick hunter to denver for a draft pick, but im thinking bargaining power to get the saints to come down on their price for howard, so maybe we can keep our number 1 at 20 and trade them our number 2 like we originally wanted too,

Denver just restructured Pryce - that would be cold to then trade him to us.

I'd offer next years #2 and Hunter.

no guys no joke, this was on espn, parcells saying he had to answer phone call to denver, and that it would be an interesting next 2 days in the draft, to me, that either means a trade, tomorrow or right up to draft, but hey, on espn, the guys had us picking merriman at 11 and, YES, YES, MIKE WILLIAMS AT 20, ID BE HAPPY WITH THAT, JUMPING UP AND DOWN, MIKE WILLIAMS IS A YOUNG VERSION OF KEYSHAWN, YOUNGER, FASTER A LITTLE BIT, THAT WOULD GIVE US 2 IMPACT PLAYERS,

DE Coleman stays on with Broncos

NFL.com wire reports

DENVER (April 19, 2005) -- The Denver Broncos signed defensive end Marco Coleman to a contract, keeping the 14-year veteran with the team after a season in which he started every game.

Coleman had 46 tackles and 2½ sacks for the Broncos last season. He'll likely be a backup after an offseason in which the Broncos acquired Gerard Warren, Courtney Brown, Ebenezer Ekuban and re-signed Trevor Pryce.

The signing is yet another indication that the Broncos won't go after a defensive lineman in the weekend's draft. Their biggest needs are at receiver, offensive line and defensive back.

Denver has serious 2006 picks and may be trying to get back into round 1 this year?

Pryce and Washingtons/Denvers #1 next year for #20?

Next years draft is deeper.

Next years draft is deeper.

every yr people always say "next years draft has more talent" or "next years draft is deeper"...every yr, never fails

until you actually see who will be IN the draft, any comment on it is pretty ridiculous

not really...almost everyone I hear live has just said its weak at the top, mainly the top-10...that doesnt make it a bad draft
