No one in the Dallas Cowboys locker room will ever embrace the result of Sunday’s 27-7 loss at Seattle. But for cornerback LeQuan Lewis, who made his NFL debut as a special-teams performer, the joy of finally playing in a regular-season contest after being cut by three other NFL teams made for some special memories.

“For my first NFL game, it felt like the first day of school,” said Lewis, who previously had been cut by Tennessee, Oakland and the New York Jets. “I was excited. It felt really good to be out there. I felt like I was dreaming, actually. Going down the road that I went down and finally having the opportunity to play on my first Sunday, it felt very good.”

Good to see someone was interested in playing against the Seahawks. Hope his karma rubs off on the rest of the team.
