After getting "trapped" in game 2 we can't hardly call game 3 a trap. There aren't any gimmies in todays NFL.

1. DALLAS COWBOYS vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: What a difference a week makes. We saw a hungry Cowboys team feast on the New York Giants, but then the Seattle Seahawks stole their lunch money. Tony Romo looked human and the Dallas defense fell flat. With an ugly stretch upcoming against the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons, Dallas can't afford to sleep on the Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers surprised everyone by rocking the Panthers in the opener before taking Big Blue to the brink last Sunday. The Bucs continue to open the floodgates on defense, but this looked like a gimme for the 'Boys in August. No longer.

I don't think facing the possibility of back to back loses a trap game.:laugh2:

When you are middle of the pack, no games are trap games. The media keeps giving this perception that the Cowboys are elite. They are not and have not been for 16 years.

I would say it's 50/50 they beat the Bucs.

we might become the trappers in week 4 as opposed to the trappees.

The definition of a trap game was last week when Balt lost to Philly. This game is no where close to a trap game.

I just want this team focused in on 1 game at a time. No one game bigger than the next one. Right now Cowboys need their attention towards Tampa.

I think the Cowboys are capable of beating any team out there I also think if not focused they can lose to any team out there.

After Dallas' performance in week 2 and an 8-8 season where they defeated one team with a winning record, how could this be called a "trap game" as much as a head-to-head battle between equally matched teams?

...Tony Romo looked human...

If not for all the dropped passes, Dallas wins and Romo looks spectacular. Do analysts even wantch the games anyomore? :bang2:

No just know how the game works. This is the NFL you come in not focused on the task at hand there is a very good chance you lose. All teams have one thing in common, Paid Professionals.

it all adds up. don't forget the stupid interception and the underthrown passes. yes he was under heavy presure which make him look human.

Romo is going to have great games and merely good games. How many QB's could have made that 3rd down completion to Kevin Ogletree?

But Romo was not as sharp as we witnessed in the season opener. Surprise, he's not a robot.
