Former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman joined KTCK-AM 1310 The Ticket. Here are some highlights.
On the Cowboys being dominated by Seattle:
Troy Aikman: I think it's the league. It really happened throughout the NFL last weekend. Disappointing loss, especially coming off a big win in New York. Not an easy place to play. Just the way the game started, with the fumbled kickoff, then the blocked punt and the interception. None of that was good. But, having said that, they were just down six points at the half. My guess is Dallas is going to come back and play really, really well this weekend.

On Dez Bryant:
Troy Aikman: I didn't think he was as bad as what was portrayed this week. But I think there's an element of his game that's going to be a bit inconsistent.

Hopefully he is right.

The bigger question is if they do play really, really well on Sunday, what will they do the week after that?

And the week after their bye?
And the week after that?
And the week after that?

This team is going nowhere until it starts playing really, really well week after week. The lack of consistent play by this team has been it's downfall for years.

Until they play at a high level for weeks on end, this is nothing more than a 8-8 team. So playing well and beating the Bucs is great. But will they build on it or are they going to pee their pants again?

That's what interests me.

Co-sign.
It's going to take me "a week after that, and a week after that" to get over last week. I am complete demoralized:( . Good thing I'm not on the team.
