ARLINGTON — The Cowboys offensive line didn’t do Tony Romo many favors in Sunday’s home opener. Romo was sacked four times and hit hard after several throws.

After the game, Romo said the 16-10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was one of the “most physically tough” games he’s played in.

He then joked that he’d probably be using some ice packs tonight.

“As a quarterback, you’re going to take a shot, a big one here and there,” Romo said. “It’s just football. It happens sometimes. It’s just part of playing the position in the game.”

Tony, I think your GM was mad at you this offseason.

Only 13 more games to go.

More than one of his hits involved helmet to helmet.

Maybe he would rather be behind the Philadelphia O line.

Maybe he would rather be behind the Philadelphia O line.

Philly has been in an advanced state of denial for a while in their crazily pass-heavy play selection, but their OL was good with Peters.

Him being out is a major problem for them, but I can still respect that they tried to build it strong and signed top-notch and relatively young free agents.

Dallas has been bad at OL-development for too long and the resulting neglect is going to get Romo hurt.

Romo doesn't get the respect he deserves as far as officiating... If that had been Brady or Brees the flag surely would have been thrown.

I swear that last helmet to helmet hit it looked like he was out on the ground for a moment. If he wasn't concussed as they say it was a miracle. No way Romo makes the season unless o line improves..
