They could easily be 3-0

Maybe Dallas didn't lay an egg. They just got beat.

No, we laid an egg. Also, they didn't win. CLEARLY that was an interception and will be talked about as the BIGGEST BLOWN CALL yet. C'mon!

Seattle is a tough team, no doubt.

That doesn't change the fact that Dallas looked like a JV team.

You could play the best team in the world and still lay and egg.

Their defense is beastly. Their offense is one dimensional. They don't trust Wilson yet. They pounded Lynch to death. Us getting in that 10-0 hole screwed us over and swung the game into their favor because that was their gameplan to pound the rock.

But what pisses me off is we lost that game because our special teams and offense didn't show up at all.

Fumbled kickoff to start the game. Blocked punt returned for a TD and 10-0 lead. At least five dropped passes.

No, Dallas laid an egg ... and couldn't afford to do it against a team with a very good defense.

SEA is obviously a very good defensive team.

You don't beat good teams on the road giving up ST touchdowns and going down by two scores in the first quarter.

They have 3 Pro Bowlers in their secondary and they may have 4 Pro Bowl caliber players in that secondary. They're a great defensive team. Cowboys hurt themselves that game but I'm not sure if the Cowboys are a better TEAM than the Seahawks at this point. It may change in a few weeks.

They definitely know how to convert turnovers into points, even their own.

Well Seattle was clearly beat in the 2nd half cause they adjusted. We didn't adjust at all.

Seattle is good no doubt. But the real problem was that we got out coached.

Seattle has given up 27 points this year. You can argue whether or not they won the game or not, but you can't say anything about their Def. It is phenomenal

Yes no doubt about it....they are very good.

We will see how good their defense really is when they play a few road games. I don't think it is good enough to overcome their offense though in the long run.

There was a lot of arrogance in people here's response to the Seahawks game. As if it was unfathomable that a team with that much acknowledged talent on defense and a serious early advantage because of the special teams screw ups could beat us. Seattle has looked so far to be a team that you can't realistically spot 10 points in the first 5 minutes or whatever it was, and then easily score on enough times to overcome it.

People were riding too high because of the Giants win and then felt betrayed by poor play the next week.

while i have gathered great respect for their defense, i am now embarrassed that our defense gave up even 17 points to that one-dimensional abortion of an offense (joking, sorta).

Their defense has given up 39 points (it was 27 before tonight's game). Our defense has given up 47 points -- one more touchdown and two more extra points (because Green Bay tried and failed a two-point conversion tonight) than Seattle has allowed.

Here's a look at the eight scoring drives by Seattle's opponents --

75 yards, FG
58 yards, TD
4 yards, FG
80 yards, TD
95 yards, TD
70 yards, FG
66 yards, FG
81 yards, TD

And here are the nine scoring drives by our opponents --

- 3 yards, FG
89 yards, TD
79 yards, TD
26 yards, FG
52 yards, FG
90 yards, TD
88 yards, TD
29 yards, TD
70 yards, FG

There's not much difference, other than the short-field TD we allowed against the Bucs.

It is phenomenalTheir defense is fast and attacking with a very good secondary. We were beat by a better team on that day. I would have loved to have not given up 10 points on special teams. I think the game could have played out much differently. Oh well we moved on.

:laugh2: :laugh2:

if you think there is any similarity between a cowboy team that laid down, had no idea what to do in terms of adjustments, got run on, and compeltely dominated to the tune of 27 points and a GB team that fought all the way and was robbed off a win.... then those are blinders no amount of common sense can get off

Seattle is half bad. Their D is good at pressure and limiting points. Their offense is bad because they can't score points.

I'm still scratching my head over how they were able to take it to our defense in the second half of our game with them.

I guess some folks don't agree

at home this seattle team is a good team

i dont think many would dispute that after seeing their games against us and the packers

my problem is not whether they are good or not, rather the way we played them and our response to adversity

if you believe in the old saying that "adversity does not build character, it reveals it", then how we responded does not bode well for us in the long run
