Allowing your kids to play on scooters outside the house on a quiet street seems innocent--and common--enough. But a Texas mom was arrested and spent the night in jail after a neighbor complained that the children were unsupervised.
Rest of the story (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/mom-sues-polices-she-arrested-letting-her-kids-134628018.html)
Even if she wasn't watching, how is this child endangerment? Man, I have let my 7 and 10 year old play on scooters outside while I am inside cleaning up. Guess I am going to jail.
This whole thing is absurd and I hope she wins. I bet the neighbor is just an old hag that doesn't like the noise kids were making outside while playing.
