Obviously to us it is. To a multi millionaire? No.

The managers of those eateries must have been hating life when Vince left Tenn. Suddenly they had to explain a big dropoff in biz! :lmao:

I love Cheesecake factory, but not $5,000 a week love.

I will assume Vince wasn't eating alone but picking up the tab for the entourage ie hanger ons who probably have better things to do these days rather than hang around VY.

For one night of the week?

What about the other 6?

For one night of the week?

What about the other 6?

It says 5000 a week on occasion of some 6000+ tabs.

>>>>During his five seasons in Tennessee, Young was a frequent visitor to Cheesecake, TGI Fridays and a number of similar fine dining establishments. The patronage wasn’t the problem; rather it was the sizable bills Young would rack up during visits.<<<<

Cheescake and TGI Fridays are fine dining establishments? :lmao2:

Young once spent $6,000 -- yes, $6,000 -- on a bill at the TGI Fridays

How do you spend $6000 at a TGI Fridays

The thought process "You can't go broke spending $250k on Cheesecake Factory if you're a multi millionaire" is precisely how multi millionaires go broke spending $250k on Cheesecake Factory. Just the fact that one thinks spending $250k a year on Cheesecake Factory is a reasonable idea, regardless of how much money they make, indicates they're an idiot when it comes to money, don't have the foggiest idea how to conserve their wealth. Unless you're Warren Buffett rich, money is never a bottomless pit.

It must have taken a concerted effort on his part, considering nothing on the menu costs over $12.

He wasnt ordering from the "two for $20" menu, that's for sure.

Read a book by a sports agent at least 25 year ago.. The guy repped Eric Dickerson and many others. Said he always tried to structure contracts that took less money up front, and provided for the players entire lifetime with annuitys, etc...

He had one player who was guarenteed $100,000 a year for life for example.

He said that to a man, the players almost exclusively rejected these deals.. they wanted the money up front, and would spend it on entourages, etc... hanger ons, and long lost relatives who suddenly appeared in their lives.

Famous quote from the book... "show me a list of guys 10 years out of football who are financially secure and then show me a list of guys who are dead broke... the first one is very short, the other.. goes on and on."

What? Vince Young has literally been given more chances than any other QB that can't play the position in the NFL. And he's shot himself at the foot at every opportunity.

How if he is only 29 and been on 2 teams? 5 seasons with the Titans and 1 season with the Eagles. So what chances are you talking about?

That's pathetic. I would feel sorry for him if I could, I just can't bring myself to do it.

Titans, 5 seasons, that's literally hundreds of chances right there. Not many teams would have given Vince Young that long to fizzle out.

Eagles gave him plenty of opportunities since Vick gets injured so often, and what'd he do there?

He was on the Bills very briefly, who decided they'd seen enough before the regular season. You're seriously going to play this card?

This isnt in the least bit shocking. The dude was clearly stupid from the word go. Everyone and their sister had to see this coming when you saw how piss poor he did on the Wonderlic.

I know people bag on that and say it doesn't really matter and it doesn't necassarily to on field performance.

But it's a decent indicator of which guys are going to struggle with being completely morons during their careers.
