I think Fletcher Cox should have been the pick.

Barron is a very good player would not have been upset with selecting him. I also like the job Claiborne has done. His individual stat may not be anything great right now but I don't see QB's going after him as I have seen other rookies CB and Claiborne along with Carr have been a big help thus far in making this defense better. I'm not seeing QB finding that 1st or 2nd read they are being forced to hold on to the ball so they either have to go to the check down, throw it away or take the sack.

The hit he put on Steve Smith in the first week was classic.

He was impressive last night

I can't believe Barron got flagged on that too. Such BS. He was clearly a runner...He was running that freaking option like at Baylor....SMH refs...

Absolutely.

What if we drafted Barron and had to start Carr + Scan? Would we still a dominant pass defense? Don't fix something that doesn't need fixing :).

I agree fully, I LOVE the way Clai is performing.
I'm with you also on how I wouldn't have been upset if we got Barron somehow. Both are going to be future stars.

I agree. You can only make the 1 selection and I'm happy with our selection. I like Barron a lot and I agree he very well could be a future star in this league. I really thought QB would be going after Claiborne big time but thus far his coverage has been good enough where QB's are not going after him. I'm sure that will change as we move forward some one is going to challenge him

Hey, Claiborne and Barron wear the same number, 24, I think.

Both are going to be good. So is Fletcher Cox.

I'd say the NFC East teams all had a good draft this year.

I cant believe that called a B.S. penalty on that hit also....

I agree. When the QB acts like a RB on a play then they should face the same music the RB faces. It is one thing protecting a QB in the pocket when he is exposed but when the QB tucks the ball and run he should be fair game. If you want to protect them then don't allow them to run.

http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/1466833/barronslam_medium.gifHe's a beast, but that play isn't as impressive when you actually see what he did.

He lifted the guy's legs, you lift anyone's legs and you have the chance to slam them like that.

A hard hitting text book tackle is much more impressive.

That is text book, he hit in the body lifed the legs off the ground and took him down.

He's also laid out Steve Smith, had a game saving pass deflection, you name it.

You mean Carr and Jenkins?

Hmm.. i woulda been very happy with that too. Carr and Jenkins at CB and Barron and Sense at S would have been pretty nice.

I believe it was unnecessary roughness for driving him into the turf. They treated him like a QB in the pocket when he was obviously a runner at they point.

Unreal what they are turning this game into.
