Dallas Cowboys (http://www.nfl.com/teams/dallascowboys/profile?team=DAL) outside linebacker Anthony Spencer (http://www.nfl.com/player/anthonyspencer/2495745/profile) will not play in Monday night's game (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2012100100/2012/REG4/bears@cowboys) against the Chicago Bears (http://www.nfl.com/teams/chicagobears/profile?team=CHI) because of a pectoral injury.
Earlier, two sources with knowledge of Spencer's condition were optimistic he might be available to play, but he never received final clearance to play Monday.

Spencer missed practice all week with the injury and has been listed as questionable.

Note this article is all over the place. The URL says he's expected to play but I guess the latest is no he won't.

...but I'm not so optimistic. They'll run right at him per all the sports radio stations in Chicago today: that was the plan anyway, but now that Spence is out....Butler better get ready for a steady diet of Forte and Bush coming his way. He's undersized and the Bears don't think he can handle it....frankly, either do I.:bang2:

If he cannot handle it...then he should not be on the team. This is NOT his first year in the NFL. Injuries happen. Next man up. And if he cannot handle it..that means we might as well have given Spencer a contracts...instead of letting hit the cap this year for almost 9m. No excuses! Next man up. Let's go!

Co-sign. I like Butler better anyway. I'm not a Spencer fan.

You're nuts. I don't care how much of a babe you are. Spencer is the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.
