I don't blame Romo, 3 of those INT's were not his fault. The other two was him just trying to press at the end of the game.

and the most critical of all the blunders, IMO. The D had just given us the ball back. The game was well within reach even if we just kick a field goal.

What part of the idiot guard play did you not see? That would never have happened IF WE HAD ADEQUATE BLOCKING!

It still doesn't excuse the random shovel or whatever you want to call that was. Just take the hit. I love Romo to, but c'mon man!

That play was a dagger.

Agreed...take the sack and move on.

He was bad tonight. Yeah, some of it wasn't his fault, but quite a bit was.

I still can't see blaming him for this team's woes though. Our woes start in the trenches and work their way all the way up to ownership.

Take another hit where he'll probably fumble anyway and/or get hurt? Great idea.

lol OK. He still got hit either way. You really think he'll probably fumble if he tucks the ball?

C'mon dude, I love Tony but quit being such a homer. Anybody can make mistakes, and he did there. O Line played good enough to win this game.

I never said he couldn't make mistakes. He clearly made some today. The last two picks were clearly on him, but the first three weren't IMO. As usual Dez ran a crappy route. The guy seems to think he can just go up and catch the ball over the DB consistently without even trying to run a route. He's so freaking lazy.

The next one Ogeltree dropped a pass and it was caught in the air. Romo can't make these idiots catch. All he can do is put it in the best possible spot. Other than that first Giants game Ogeltree has been pretty average. He hasn't been even close to as consistent as Robinson was.

The third again no time to throw and you don't want him taking a sack. We had trouble scoring to begin with and the last thing we needed was to be set back even more. He tried to make a play and the Bears made a great player and scored. It's on the OL for not blocking

You want him taking a sack over a side arm hot potato.

You want him to get drilled and possibly injured?

This is football. He already got hit on the play and still played hot potato. Is that the only way you can explain that play in Tony's favor?

That's about as soft as this team right now.

It's not that simple man. When you're playing quarterback and you have this big dudes coming full speed you wanna get the ball out as soon as possible. Again Tony tried to make a play. That's what he does. The defender just made a better one.

Sometimes the best play is take the sack! It is his job to understand the game situation and make the best choice for the team. I'm sorry, but you don't side arm prayer the ball in that situation it is that simple. He did the same thing last week and obviously didn't learn from his mistake there.

What an awesome guy. This coaching staff and team doesn't deserve him. Not a single excuse and taking the entire blame on his shoulders for the rest of his crap team, especially the offensive line turnstile. I know you're a competitve guy and want to win and you will always because they always have that fire that can't be extinguished. Just enjoy your beautiful wife and new son until the rest of the team with a few exceptions gives a crap.

Really? People are calling the fumble/interception knocked out from behind while trying to escape due to his crapensive line to the linebacker a shovel pass? Get your eyes checked.

So Tony should be miserable and act like losing a football game is the worse thing ever because that's what the fans are doing?

Some of you take it way too seriously. It's just a game at the end of the day.

Who said he should be miserable? Seriously do you have reading comprehension problems? What part of enjoying one's self with their family has that as any remote implication. Believe me, Tony is miserable. He's a competitor and they hate losing.

It is a game. But it's also a product. You can buy it by watching it or you can leave it on the shelf if it sucks.

I have a feeling that shovel play was going @ least for a first down because that WR cleared the LBs zones. Romo waited as long as he could for that player ( can't remember who it was) to be open.

So, a quarterback sees the pressure and throws an int/fumble and you don't give him the blame? Yes it was poor blocking but you don't compound the blocking mistake with an inexplicable decision like that. That play right there sealed the game.

He had one against the bucs like that as well.

He is trying too hard to do too much.

I've watched the Briggs pick six play several times, and I honestly don't know if Romo was attempting to shovel pass that ball.To me it looked like Melton punched it loose when he reached for Romo, and then either he or Romo inadvertently batted it forward into the waiting arms of Briggs.

If I remember correctly you could see a throwing motion start just as or before he got hit and a sort of follow through with the empty hand.

EDIT: THE MIDDLE PICTURE APPEARS TO BE FROM THE 1ST QTR, NOT THE BRIGGS PICK SIX IN THE 3RD.

Hmm... not seeing it. To my eyes it looks like Tony has the ball tucked in his right arm, and Melton brings his arm down on Tony's forearm knocking the ball loose. Could that last picture indicate that Romo accidently punched the ball forward with his left hand?

exactly how I feel, he did have his blunders but not to the extreme the stats show. There were ALOT of things from the team as a whole that were poorly played. one being the defense had to pick this game to totally blunder and let the offense dictate how they did.

The oline, although much better as far as less penalties go, did not adjust very well to the blitzing packages the bears threw at them.

Dez, man I have been such a fan of him but I am starting to wonder if he understands the game well enough to play up to his potential. It seems like a never ending thing with him disappearing in games and adjusting his routes properly.

If you blame Romo for the fumble something is seriously wrong with you... He did not try to toss the ball first of all, the guy popped the ball out of his hand into the air when he was trying to step up in the pocket. It was poor blocking by Benardeau!
