R u serious? I've never seen a team get more bounces. Return men fumble to get them back in the game. Without absolute gifts from their opponents they don't have either of their past two miracle rings. They even fumbled three times in the SB but didnt lose one! Kyle Williams gave them the NFC championship last year. So sick of their luck. They are a decent team, but have had way more success than a team of that caliber should have had. Incredible luck has played a big part in that. Oh and the nonsense about making your own luck is simply that. Nonsense. You dont make a ball bounce a certain way. You dont make a ref make a bad call. You dont make an opponent inexplicably drop a ball. Screw the vagiants.

Lol. Boohoo, Giants only win because they are lucky. Forget about great games on the road leading to both the SBs, forget about the great drive at the beginning of the 4th qtr in SB 42 (not talking about the game winning drive), forget about the game winning drive to end SB46. You cherry pick a few plays and say they are lucky. Sounds silly.

No doubt the Giants had breaks along the way. The fumbled return in SF was a break but also good special teams play. Giants played a very physical game at SF against a brutal Defense. One of Mannings best games ever and the stat sheet will never show it, he was pummeled all game. When you keep yourself in the game one play, like a specials teams fumble, can be the difference. He reads defenses. They don't run the option nearly as much as you think. Watch more than highlights. He goes through his progressions. He doesn't lock onto receivers. This falsehood that he can't read defenses is based off people stereotyping running quarterbacks and not watching his games.

I've been watching his games. I don't just watch highlights. If I'm wrong, tell me why Shannahan runs a college offense for him? You can deny it all you want, but it's a known fact. Shannahan has admitted he needs to tone it down because RG3 takes too many shots, and here we are.

Quote him. I've never heard/read him say that.

They want to take advantage of his talent, so that is why a PORTION of the offense is similar to what he ran at Baylor. There is a beat reporter that breaks down the formations and offensive stats after every game. Kyle Shanahan has consistently called a third of less of the packaged plays that you speak of.

If he was always in shotgun and running the offense the way coaches run an offense with Tebow behind center, I could understand what you're saying. But that isn't the reality of how they've ran this offense.

The Ravens are the dumbest team I've ever seen.

Every week they are in these dog fight-type close games because they're constantly trying to pass.

I seriously cannot remember a team with such an effective back that just will not give the guy the ball.

I can't remember who it was last week that pointed (maybe Salt) but the Eagles do it too but the Ravens are just criminally bad in this area.

Ray Rice has 92 yards on 13 carries. Flacco has 26 attempts, the numbers have kind of sat still for a few minutes.

Ray Rice just rips run after run and ever on plays where there's nothing he's one of those guys that falls forward for a yard or two.

I honestly can't believe it. Rice had 64 carries coming into the game. That's ridiculous.

Their last 3 games have been decided by a combined 9 points and their in a 6 point game this week. How is he not getting the ball?

If he was always in shotgun and running the offense the way coaches run an offense with Tebow behind center, I could understand what you're saying. But that isn't the reality of how they've ran this offense.

Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has taken advantage of this and has included plenty of mis-direction in the running game. The Redskins are outwitting defenses by using elements of the option offense.

These plays are designed to force the defense into deciding who has the ball at the hand off. Griffin will often execute a delayed fake handoff to his running back and as the defense goes with the back, Griffin will take off in the opposite direction.

This zone option play favours the zone-blocking scheme made famous by head coach Mike Shanahan. It suits what Washington's offensive linemen do best.

Mike Shannahan is certainly known for his bag of tricks when it comes to offense, especially during his short time in Washington with the Redskins. He certainly could not ask for a better quarterback to be able to direct that offense than the reigning Heisman Trophy winner out of Baylor University in Robert Griffin, III. Through three games this season, Griffin has shown that he can run and pass but the offense is still looking for that continuity. One of the offensive formations that the Redskins used against the Cincinatti Bengals was the triple option. It leads to the question: Will the triple option work for the Washington Redskins?

All I got for now, i'm trying to watch the games. If you want to debate this later, let me know. I know a college offense when I see one. You guys have one of the best offenses statistically in the league right now, so whatever works. I'm just wondering if it can be sustained.

I believe Griffin will get better though, and he does have the smarts to read defenses, he's just a rookie. I think he's going to be much better than Michael Vick, eventually.

That's really what it comes down to. It has been working.

I think another thing people should keep in mind is that he's a rookie. He's started 5 games.

He'll progress as a passer and I think he's shown some very good poise and decision making thus far.

In 2-3 years, I doubt he's running what people would call a "college offense". Hell maybe even as early as next year.

I think he's gonna be a very good QB. I don't think it's a far stretch that he's the best QB in the East in a few years.
