IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys have some issues at the punter position after veteran Brian Moormanhttp://www.dallascowboys.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/brian-moorman/da076410-a8a6-4997-91a4-08860637e1dd/) injured his groin before Wednesday’s practice. Chris Joneshttp://www.dallascowboys.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/chris-jones/934b7ae8-fc3b-4ff7-b65a-864de27cc75d/) is still ailing with a left knee injury and is questionable to play this week.

It left the Cowboys scrambling for practice on Wednesday with place-kicker Dan Baileyhttp://www.dallascowboys.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/dan-bailey/fc0dea0d-a337-4ec0-b97b-45a4233f1249/) having to serve as the fill-in punter. Don’t forget Bailey had to punt twice last year with a 39.5 yard average when Mat McBriar went down.

Obviously against the Ravens in a game where field position will be vital, the Cowboys would like to have an experienced punter – and a healthy one, too.
It’s likely Moorman won’t be able to play this week, but the Cowboys are holding out hope for Jones, who suffered the injury against the Bucs on Sept. 23 when he was roughed by a Tampa Bay defender.
