Coming into this matchup against the Ravens, there were plenty of questions about whether the Cowboys could generate any type of rushing attack to help their offense. During the week, Garrett made the decision to play with “12” personnel and mixed it up by including fullback Lawrence Vickers (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/lawrence-vickers/63c5784d-3a26-4c0f-90f8-a013fb3c51ef/).
The offensive line, with Phil Costa (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/phil-costa/119be5ef-632d-43cc-8051-fa1ec8b37a44/) back at center, was able to open up holes that we have not seen since the Giants game. All of the Cowboys running backs were able to rush with a purpose, and like last week against the Chiefs, the Ravens really didn’t have a good answer to slow Dallas down.
The Ravens might be struggling to stop the run, but you have to give this offensive line a lot of credit. They were much more physical than the Ravens. This line has heard for the last three games that they are not good, but today against a physical front, they played well enough to win this football game.

The offensive line was fantastic the whole game. It is a shame there effort was wasted.

Better performance...still not getting too excited.
It should be noted that Vickers was crushing people out there yesterday. Easily his best game so far.
It was against a team that the hapless Chiefs ran for 200 yards on. Color me unimpressed.

The people that have constantly criticized this oline will not give any credit until they can claim they were right all along. Problem is the oline was pretty good vs an awesome Bears front seven and even better against what is still a good Ravens defense in their house.
I see improvement and it should only get better.

Somewhat offtopic, but LOL right now at Bryan and Mickey on Talking Cowboys. They're doing full damage control for Garrett right now, and contorting themselves to explain how you just couldn't have possibly gotten another play off. Rowan's probably thinking "are you serious?".

I very much agree with this, though I do express some concern about this being due to a very poor Ravens' run defense as much as anything else.
I hope to see them continue this improvement over the coming weeks.

It's terrible. In this article he's making a semi-decent point, but his status as Jerry-tool discredits it.

I think anyone with eye's knows the OL has shown marked improvement over the last two games. It has been pretty close to the same thing for the last several years. The Cowboys show flashes of excellence in certain position groups from game to game, but rarely can we have a full effort from all the units in the same game for 60 minutes. It is a big part of what is frustrating about being a fan of this team; we have seen them play better...we know for a fact that this team can beat any team, if everyone plays like they are capable of playing. All it takes is one or two guys having an off day, the whole gameplan falls apart and Jason starts pulling plays out of his hat.
