Richard Sherman beats Tom Brady; taunts the Pats with ‘U MAD BRO?’ after the game

SEATTLE -- Two things we know about Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/24941): He's one of the best young defensive players in the league, and he doesn't lack confidence. The former Stanford receiver, selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL draft, had perhaps his best game in Seattle's 24-23 win over the New England Patriots. Sherman was all over the place, frequently breaking up and deflecting passes from Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to his receivers.
When Sherman picked off a Brady pass to Deion Branch with 4:52 left in the third quarter (note: teams are learning to avoid throwing the ball anywhere near Sherman when he has inside position on a receiver), Brady apparently told Sherman and safety Earl Thomas (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/23989) to " see him after the game when they win..... I found him after...."

Whatever! Sherman is an idiot. You are better than Tom Brady? The lock hall of fame QB and arguably the best to ever play the game at the position?

That Tom Brady?

You are better than him and you are going to yell it in his face? It was ONE FLIPPIN GAME, HOLY TOLEDO!

Where do they GET these flippin idiots? So you beat him 1 game. Good lord the man is a legend and you are going to say that crap? How about you handle your business and play the game and stop looking to get your name in the paper just because you spout stupid BS nonsense? I can't believe Sherman. :lmao:

Grow up and get a haircut, thug. :laugh2:

Flat out embarrassing. Probably why the Cinderella ran to take it all down from his Tweethouse.

Uh wow.... Sherman is a complete tool.

http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2012/1015/bos_a_brady_sherman_300.jpg

The second-year cornerback did approach Brady after the game, tweeting a photo of himself yelling at the quarterback as he was walking off the field.

"Me and (safety Earl Thomas) walked up to him and said, 'We're greater than you. We're better than you. You're just a man -- we're a team,'" Sherman told the News Tribune. "That's the Brady Bunch; this is a defense. We've got 11 players out there to play great ball, and we're never going to let one man beat us. It's not just about one man. If they've got 11 players out there on offense, then they're one hell of a team."

I do not recall Carroll's teams being jerks. Guess I will need to read up on his old teams to see if they had attitudes like this.

Mike Jenkins mocks the Saints by having "We Dat" (or whatever) written on his towel in a game against the Saints and he's revered for being a confident player.

Richard Sherman goes toe-to-toe with Brady and gets the best of him, the entire organization is full of classless jerks.

Fandom.......ain't it great?

Comparing what Jenkins did and Sherman did?

That's where you are hanging your hat? :laugh2:

I am just going to go out on a limb here and say that fans of the Cowboys would not be waving the awesome flag if say Jenkins did the same thing to Tom Brady.

I would think we had a bit more class than that.

Towel writing < Tom Brady ? Maybe?

Ooooo K!

Ooooo K!

They're both **** talk.

I don't care about either one but it's funny how Sherman now represents some classless organization while Jenkins got tons of love for it.

I loved it when Jenkins had that confidence because his game is what allowed him to put it out there.

If I were a fan of Seattle, I'd absolutely love what Sherman did to Brady.

Brady should tweet him a pic of his SB rings and say no you mad?

I like it. Sherman didn't say anything personally disparaging about Brady's mom or something. Just on-field trash talking.

Even better that Sherman was saying that stuff during the game, not just when the Seahawks won.

Kinda reminds me of Ken Norton, Kevin Smith and others with the swagger we had before winning our first 90s Super Bowl.

You don't think Michael Irvin wasn't talking trash to the 2-time SB winning Darrell Green before we won a Super Bowl?

Brady was talking trash because he said see me after the game? That isn't trash. That is just confidence.

Thug MegaDred was talking the trash and then was talking it after the game was over to Brady following him off the field and then at his locker. 1 game? Really? 1 game and now he is BETTER than Tom Brady? :laugh2:

You better RETHINK yourself. I mean think about it. Here is your time to shine and talk smack to Tom Brady and you tell THAT man that you are better than him and will ever be? :laugh2:

You kids act like going about your business and being a pro is a bad thing. That somehow it demeans you as a man. Handle your business and get home is actually a stand up thing to do. Tom Brady wouldn't have said crap if MegaDred hadn't instigated it all his own self, which is how things escalate I might as it did in this situation.

Add to it the 9 year old follows the man off the field? ;) That little girl had to get his 2 cents in on Tom Brady is all I am saying. Talk about insecure. You guys make me laugh.

Again talk your smack. Nobody is even saying anything about that. It was the SMACK that he talked which is hilarious and completely stupid in itself.

You can't script what not to say to a legend better than what he said.

He needs better friends and someone to write him better taunts. Please don't make rapping a 2nd career Sherman, we beg you bro.

I don't care what they say between plays but to seek a guy out & get in his face is too much. And then to go on & on about it after the game. Tweeted the pic too I guess.

Tom Brady has talked plenty of trash in his lifetime. I remember him making a point to talk trash to former Steelers safety Anthony Smith when Smith said before the game that their defense wasn't afraid of him. Brady throws a TD and immediately gets in Smith's face to talk trash. I would say it was amazing that Brady wasn't flagged (or fined), but since the league is one giant sock puppet for Kraft and Mara, it would only make sense that they would allow it to happen.

This is the same Patriots team that ran up the score bigtime on teams not too long ago, yet when a player is trash talking with Brady and Brady comes out on the losing end, they don't like it very much.

I don't adore what Sherman did, but I respect it a lot more than what we tend to see out of our players where they don't take umbrage with any disrespect an opponent does to them and just let them walk all over them.

If Tom Brady doesn't like it, then he shouldn't cast stones in that glass house of his.

what is this thug talk about? Because I have not seen anything about him being in trouble with the law (maybe he has been) Seattle's CB are big and tuff and getting better and better, and Brady has always talked trash on and off the field so what the F, because one player has SB rings and one doesn't he should just back down?

As a Cowboys fan, this "comeback" has been beaten like a rented mule, it's about time it ends.

It's a new season, we aren't living in the past.

I'm not saying Sherman was right to be a cocky butthole like that but at least he has some confidence and he does back it up.

So talking trash is the only way to show confidence?

And, no, the "comeback" isn't old. You play not just to win one regular season game (see the Cowboys defeat of the Giants on opening week); you play to win the Super Bowl.

When you reach that goal, you reach a level of respect in that you have attained the ultimate prize. It means you were able to endure an entire season to take the greater prize.

Crowing about a regular season win is meaningless in the greater context of the ultimate purpose of playing NFL games.

If you miss that, then you're relegated to quoting stats as opposed to counting Super Bowl wins.

If Brady wants to trash talk someone he should just point out that he married the richest supermodel in the world. If he had a prenup it was about limiting how much of his wife's money he would get if they divorce. How many athletes can match that accomplishment? :+)

One veteran Jet explained to Breer why he hates the Patriots : "I don't like them at all; It's grown, they ruled the division, so we've had a lot of opportunities to build that dislike," he said. "They act like the goody two-shoes, and then you see the way act out the field, and it's totally different."

I still say anyone defending Brady is gutless and a reflection of Cowboy fans. We were respectful letting him drive the field for a gw td. (facepalm)
