Sean Lee isn’t getting hung up on last week’s close loss to Baltimore.
The third-year linebacker shrugged off a question about the emotional impact of the 31-29 loss on a missed field goal.
“We try to treat every win and every loss the same way,” he said Thursday at Valley Ranch. “Just move on, but know what you can do to get better to make yourself a better team. Holding on to a loss hurts you just like holding on to a win does. We found out what we could do to get better on Monday, and we've been doing it.”
“I think we've been close in a lot of these games, but close doesn't get wins,” he said. “We have to put it on the field. We have to win in big situations. We have to make plays in the fourth quarter to win football games, and that's something we haven't done every single game. To be a great football team, we're going to have to do that every week. And that's what we're working for now, and I feel like we're ready to do it. But it's a matter of going out on the field and executing.”
