IRVING, Texas - The Cowboys don’t have a ton of depth at the cornerback position, with just four players on the roster.

So the fact Mike Jenkins played only snap in Sunday’s game against the Panthers is quite alarming, especially since he was healthy enough to play.

My question is: Why?

Is Jenkins dogging it in practice?

Are they shopping him for OL or something else?

He played very, very well vs. Tampa.

maybe they are doing it on purpose so teams will think there is no value in jenkins and the boys can sign him cheaply?

That is a good question. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the team were a little cautious with him in regards to the shoulder. He had an MRI on it after the Ravens game. The team probably doesn't want him to re-aggravate it.

They will trade him even up for Wes Welker. :)
