I always find it funny that irvin is still a huge cowboys fan (not that its a bad thing.) He is always supportive of the team.

Rich Eisen: Remember when the Cowboys were playing smart, situational football? Stout running game? Bigtime swagger in the trenches? That was a long time ago!

Michael Irvin: That was like '92!

Rich Eisen: That was week 1.

Probably not, Ponder is in his sophomore year and doesn't play for the Cowboys.

Another field goal coming because Freeman looks like a rookie. (Tampa always has plenty of time on the playclock, because they don't trust Freeman to audible)

I agree with muck4doo, give Martin the ball. He's the only one on Tampa's offense that's shown any propensity for being explosive.

Percy Harvin can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. He's ridiculous.

#84 was engaged with the CB from Tampa Bay BEFORE Harvin caught the ball on the WR screen...I have seen Dallas have TDs called back for that....it is a call that is NEVER...except against Dallas

I see where you're coming from. We have seen that call multiple times against us.

Harvin being harvin. I hate him.

Shame Dallas had them in their 'box' on draft day as an undraftable player.

Dallas had already given up the 1st round pick that year for Roy. Coulda drafted Nicks, Harvin, or Clay Matthews with that pick.

I don't think I have ever seen us run that RB screen play where the RB chips on the end then catches the screen. Maybe we have and I just didn't notice?

Wonder why we don't call plays like that?

Mike Mayock is a football savant. He sees things in realtime that most announcers don't see in slow motion.

And he's the best draft guy in the business.

IMO.

I really like Mayock.

I think he would make a heck of a coach, or GM.

Huge run by AP.

10-25-2012, 09:40 PM
Does AP run "weird" or have something odd about his running? Has he always looked like this or a little different since his injury? It's like there's a weird hiccup in his stride.

I think he's always done that. "Hiccup" is a great way to put it, looks like he bends his torso to gain momentum or something. I have noticed that too though.

Took a closer look at the Vikings' schedule.

They have beat Jacksonville (1-5), Detroit (2-4), Tennessee (3-4), and SF (5-2, surely a fluke?).

Lost to Indianapolis (3-3), and Washington (3-4).

I'd say they are a mediocre team with a favorable schedule.

They went pass crazy last week too.

Dallas definitely caught them on a bad week.

You substitute basically any other game they have played on offense and Dallas loses.

It was like the ghost of Woody Hayes was the OC for the Bucs when they played us. I couldn't believe they were playing it that conservative.

Exactly how bout giving Dallas credit. Every team we beat is because the other team didn't do something or we caught them on a bad week. How bout Dallas was better on that day.

Well when Troy Aikman is absolutely disgusted because one of the teams he's watching runs the ball at the end of the game in the situation the Bucs were in, I think there's some truth to catching a team on a crappy week.

Our D was better for sure. They are an improved offense though. It's not taking away from what the Cowboys did against them, but acknowledging that Tampa is getting their crap together.
