IRVING, Texas - When Kevin Ogletreehttp://www.dallascowboys.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/kevin-ogletree/09dab7b9-6261-4501-9628-7ad126f89ec1/) caught eight passes for two touchdowns and over 100 yards against the New York Giants in the season opener, he bought himself some support from Cowboy faithful.

Unfortunately, after being relatively quiet in every game since then, that support has begun to wear thin among many fans. Luckily for Ogletree, this Sunday he will face off against same victims of his “breakout” game.

“I think it’s unrealistic to think he’s going to have eight catches every week and a couple of touchdowns,” Garrett said. “If you follow our offense there are games when Dez catches 13 and miles catches three. Then Miles comes back and catches five. That is just the way our offense works…Those guys have to be ready for their opportunities.”

Tony Romohttp://www.dallascowboys.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/roster/tony-romo/172ae69b-87c1-49f5-a2e6-5ed85b6d5dfc/) said opposing defenses should get at least a little bit of the credit for Ogletree’s lack of productivity.

“I think it’s a combination,” Romo said. “I think Kevin has done a really good job. I think a lot of it’s coverage and what teams are playing. At the same time he’s had a couple opportunities.“

This guy has been on the team for several years. Hes a JAG period. Lets see what the others have to offer, he showed us as recent as last week that he STILL doesnt know the routes and drops big balls. He's a 3, make a change. He's not a established playmaker in a slump, he's a guy that flashed potential in a few games that he's never lived up to with zero consistency.

I don't care so much about more big plays--they'd be nice, no doubt. What I can't take are the drive-stalling drops and the stopping short of the chains when we need an extra yard. If the big guns are going to draw the coverage, the 3rd guy has to convert when the play is there and the blocking holds up.

I don't think KO should be replaced, but I think his snaps should be challenged. Let him step up again and defend his playing time. I'm really bummed that Andre Holmes didn't deliver in preseason the way the team thought he would.

We need another player to step up big on offense in order to make everything click. It'd be nice if it were someone who's also a matchup problem for most teams. Holmes, Beasley, Hana, Harris...those are the candidates for more playing time if KO doesn't fill the role better than he has in recent weeks. Anybody I'm missing?

He played well last year. However, Laurent Robinson hasn't done squat all year with the Jaguars. He might have a few more catches than concussions so far. Seems like the Jaguars wasted $7M on this guy so far.

of course as far as you are concerned it has nothing to do with the QB he has this year versus last year
