11:05 9ers are considered on the clock right now, I doubt 1st pick will take more than 5 min.

They will probably use up their 15 mins to listen to trade offers.

Nobody will trade up to the first spot this year. There's not a proven consensus No. 1 pick that makes teams have the "I've got to have him" mentality.

I think those offers have been going on for a while now. Normally the 1st overall pick does not take that long to make even in the case of a trade

That's why they've done the Alex Smith posturing when they will probably still pick Aaron Rodgers. I think they hope some team like Miami or TB trades up for Smith.

A trade would not suprise me but again I think a 1st overall trade if it happens will be pretty quick because most of the time talks are taking place before the draft starts.

There will be a little TV introduction then Tags goes to the stand and spouts off some stuff and put the 9ers on the clock. I think they will select around 11:09 central time.

The Clock starts when ESPN gets through their intro and queses the Commish.
He steps to the podium.
Makes a short welcome introduction.
And statesThe San Francisco 49'ers are on the clock.

I cannot wait for the start of the draft. One of the best sporting events there is.
The Clock starts when ESPN gets through their intro and queses the Commish.
He steps to the podium.
Makes a short welcome introduction.
And statesThe San Francisco 49'ers are on the clock.
What are the odds that 15 minutes later, Tags comes back to the podium and anounces that the clock has expired and the 49'ers pass on their pick...Maimi is on the clock...???
That would be interesting...hmmm?
