The Cowboys have been without starter DeMarco Murray (foot) the past three games, and Murray is expected to miss this week's game, too. Murray did not practice again Thursday and has not practiced since Oct. 12. And Felix Jones was limited the past three games after bruising his knee against Baltimore.

"I think it’s a function of everything," Cowboys offensive coordinator Bill Callahan said. "It’s really the old saying every game is different, which it really is. There’s so many times where let’s say you look at the Bears game and we got behind. We got behind obviously in the Giant game. Then there were some quick possessions that took place in Atlanta, where you don’t have the opportunity to run it as much as you want. So that kind of lends itself into that number. So we’re always trying to run. We’re trying to be balanced. Jason [Garrett] and I talk about it all the time, having a balanced offense, running the ball with balance. I thought we did a pretty good job coming out in the second half and running the football in that first series. We didn’t get back to it enough, because of the way the game went and we were playing catchup again."

Stalled without him? I feel like its been said ad nauseum, but it wasn't very good with him.

Yeah, I don't get that at all. We couldn't run the ball all season minus the Ravens game. Murray went for over 100 against the Giants in the opener but at least half of that was on that one big run he basically created for himself.

This offensive line needs to be overhauled once again... Bernadaux is a fraud, and I think Free will be gone.

That would be the point to me. Felix is not looking capable of escaping being met in the backfield, while Murray at least has a shot of bailing out the poor run blocking.

pretty much everyone can run on the Ravens so that game is not much evidence of anything

Murray had the Boys best single run play of the season after getting HIT IN THE BACKFIELD
so counting that as a plus for the O line is frankly OBSCENE.

The O line has sucked as regards the run for a long time.

When was the last time we had any confidence that on a 3rd and 1 we could get it on the ground?

When was it good with him?

When has it been good under this staff? Garrett and skip peete should be raked over the coals for this running game.

No idea how you bring back a staff that is performing this poorly.
