Filed to ESPN: Seattle CBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner facing 4-game suspensions for violating performance enhancing drug policy.

Might be time to take them out of the NFC wildcard picture.

They may want to check them for more enhancers because 6'4 and moving like they do at cornerback is like they were created on Madden lol.

Why is adderall, a drug used primarily for ADHD, considered a 'performance enhancing' substance by the NFL?

Do these guys have ADHD? From what I understand, the drug works as a stimulant for people who have not been diagnosed with ADHD. It is fairly common with college kids who need to pull all nighters. It helps them stay focused for long hours, which could be considered performance enhancing. Even if you don't agree with the performance enhancing element, you still need a prescription to obtain the drug legally.

It increases focus through fatigue. Helps prepare mentally during the week and helps stay focused on the field.

That was my first thought is that it would be hilarious to see some Brady pictures saying something about it.

In other words, the visual some paint of them being bigger, stronger, and faster due to steroids is not correct.

The drug they were busted for (if I read it right) was for mental alertness and not muscle, or even oxygen, enhancement.

I know that. I just don't see how it discounts any speculation that these players are also on some other form of PED that focuses on the muscle growth and such. Sure it is just speculation, but they could beat the tests for one drug and fail for another. And I speculate that most guys are using some sort of PED for the physical stuff. Even Cowboys.

Anyway, when you said, "In other words, the visual some paint of them being bigger, stronger, and faster due to steroids is not correct." is not proven correct or incorrect by this failed test for Adderall. That speculation is still unfounded at this time.

The fact we have people here arguing if Adderall gives players an advantage or not is why players use this excuse all the time now. Fact is, we don't know what it was because the NFL isn't allowed to release that info. This could be his agent just leaking it out there that it was Adderall.

I find it hard to believe every player is all of a sudden on this drug now. It's not like this drug just hit the market.

They've now said it was adderall.
