I am sure I won't live long enough to see the little one as my King/Queen. I've only ever had one royal on my money, Liz because she has been around forever. I'm one of the few generations that never sang God Save the King, just God Save the Queen.

Was looking forward to a year of normality next year after the wedding and the jubilee being forced down my throat every time I turned on the tele, radio, went outside, went online etc for months at a time the last two years. Another mouth for us to feed which is nice, also I'm not too knowledgeable about care during pregnancy but I'm not convinced that a random girl from a council estate would be getting round the clock hospital care for morning sickness.
On a personal level for the two of them then obviously you hope everything goes well but no more so than any other random couple I've never met and I'm really not looking forward to being unable to escape this.

Why does this family maintain first class celebrity status, ultra wealth and influence because hundreds of years ago they were in charge? Most royal lineages are no longer different than the average person, as it should be. You shouldn't be able to be born into something and be set for life when someone can be born elsewhere and be impoverished for life.

I never understood the who Royal hype here in the United States anyway. After all, we fought to get away from that crap. But the whole "stop the world because of a wedding" thing or this one dies or that one is pregnant is just odd to me.
