I give Goose a lot of credit.
Had Williams gone past the Lions (huh?), he might have fallen a few more spots.
This draft has only had 2 surprises for me so far. Williams and Matt Jones. Fortunately, I don't think Williams will have near the impact in Detroit because they will be taking a good WR off the field to put him on. Jacksonville with Jones is grasping at straws. They need offensive line help and secondary help.
It will be fun to watch Pittsburgh, New England, and Philly pick.

The Lions ran mostly 3 WR sets last year. So no one will be sitting all that much to accomodate him.

I think Houston taking Travis Johnson was a surprise.

Houston has had the worst 1st round of anyone. Passed on millions of dollars in revenue from drafting DJ and getting all the instate fan support and instead took a no name.

...very interesting.
He sure flopped as far as Dallas is concerned.
He had Merriman over Ware at 11,and Castillo (HAHAHAHA) at 20.
I don't see Castillo even being drafted in the 2nd with his roid munching habits.
