I've never seen a QB get away with so many passes just thrown up. In his defense most of those balls are under thrown and his WRs come back and get them well. If CBs would play the ball like they should he would lose some of those prayers.

In that case you have to come down with the ball maintaining possession. You either catch the ball before the EZ, make a football move then cross the line or you catch the ball in the EZ or penetrate the GL in the act of catching the ball maintaining the ball thru hitting the ground.

They didnt blow the whistle, so the Ravens could pick up the ball and advance the fumble, therefore it is a change of possession twice and NY should of gotten a first down.

Very easy to cherry pick individual plays in any SB run and call them luck. Eli played exceptional in both SB runs. They had to get in position to be at the SB and to stay in the game to make that 4qtr drive and incredible catch possible.

Your Dline played much, much better, and I would argue the harassment they gave QBs like Brady and Rodgers in those runs had a lot more to do with those rings than Eli.
To clarify, I'm not saying Eli "sucks" or didn't earn his rings more than say a Trent Dilfer. But HOF? C'mon.

imagine if we drafted ray rice instead of felix jones.
i know..i know....another "what if".
but i can't help but compare the two and their approaches and passion for the game.
hopefully we'd run a different offense cause Rice rushing the ball 10 times a game would be criminal. Hell its ridiculous that Murray doesn't run it more.

I don't even think Eli is overrated.. yeah he's won two rings but I've heard no one say he was better then Peyton or Brady. As for Romo, He hasn't been as clutch as Eli over the years so I'd put Eli ahead.
Even saying that though, people who say Romo sucks only look at the bad games.. same for people who call Eli overrated.
Romo is a better QB than Eli, definitely. Romo is clutch, and more consistent. I don't care about the two rings and the hate that comes my way for saying it. That is my opinion and I will not waiver from it.

Your team is currently playing (well, I guess they are), and you're here posting on a Cowboys board?

Why is that sad? I'm on my iphone while watching a miserable game. The Giants board I post on is in full melt down, no different than yours after a loss. This loss by the Giants helps your team so I came to see what was gong on.

Why does us winning affect the Giants in a wild card scenario?

I don't understand why the Cowboys winning next week would eliminate the Giants from wildcard contention.
Can anyone explain?

Wow. Two weeks ago the Giants had a one game lead in the East with three games to go. Then they lost the next two by a combined 67-14 and now can only get into playoffs if three teams lose all lose next week.
If the Cowboys had choked like that it would be headline news all over the nation's sports pages and networks.
The Cowboys lost to a very good Saints team but at least they fought till the end. The Giants didn't even show up. They looked like Wade Phillips' Cowboys.
Giant fans have had reason to celebrate their recent SuperBowl success, but it must suck to be one of their fans right now.:lmao2:
So, is this the end of the road for Coughlin?

It's crazy I went tot he Giants board and all you had to do was switch players names and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this board and theirs.

They would finish 3rd in the division due to losing the tiebreakers to both us and Wash if all finish 9-7. Thus with us winning the division and only two wild card spots the Giants would be below various teams: Seahawks, Skins, probably Vikings and Bears.

Because the Skins own tie-breakers over the Giants, if they both finish 9-7, the Giants are out. They need the Skins to win the East. If the Cowboys beat the Skins, the Giants are eliminated.

Anything is possible. But if they play the way they did tonight, Philly will eliminate the Giants regardless of what anybody else does.

Even though they would have a tie at 9-7 with the Vikes and Bears?
If the Giants win next week they are 9-7 along with the Bears if they lose next week. But from what was stated, if the Cowboys win, somehow that eliminates the Giants from the wildcard race even though they can have the same record as the Bears and Vikings. This is what I dont understand.

I figured it out. Because that would mean the Redksins claim the last Wild Card spot over the Giants.
